Curriculum is dividend into two cycles Physics and chemistry. Chemistry is more of learning and physics is more understanding both are good and there are labs for concept building. The exams take place on epad.

Course and curriculum is good, i feel like it is easier than other colleges. Most faculty members are good. I chose this course because i like cars. Student ratio is also good. Term exams occur approximately after every 2 months.

In Sem 1 we are divided into Physics and Chemistry Cycle..Ig u got Chem Cycle in Sem 1 then u will be in Physics Cycle in Sem 2. Chem Cycle subjects are:- Engineering Chemistry Basic Electrical Technology Engineering Mathematics(1 or 2)- common for both cycles Environmental Studies Problem Solving Using Computers- C language Biology For Engineers Chemistry Lab Engineering Graphics (1 or 2) Lab- common for both cycles Faculty to student ratio is 8:100 Faculty are highly qualified with most professors having PHDs from NITs or MIT itself Term exams were on a level slightly lower than JEE prep...it varies from person to person..but do take these exams seriously and study everyday..aim for 9+ cgpa to get a good hostel room.

I opted for this course as I was into cars and machines. The faculty and student ratio is pretty good. 1:40 is the faculty-student ratio. The teaching methods are really good and the qualifications of the faculties are that some have done master's, some have done PhD in their respective field, and some are done with their master's. There are regular quizzes and assignments, there are mid-sems and end-sems. The difficulty level of the exam is of a nice level but if you are thorough with your concepts you will score pretty good.

I chose Mechanical Engineering due to family reasons. The faculty at MIT is very good for all the courses. All the professors teaching have either done master's or PhD. There are two exams in one sem which are mid-semester and end-semester sems which are 1.5 months apart.

I chose Mechanical Engineering because I am interested in Machine and automotives, this course will help me to form a foundation. The faculty at Manipal are all PHDs mostly and highly experienced in both teaching and handling student problems.

There is one teaching faculty for 60 students in a class. The faculty are quite good. For a particular subject, there is a faculty who has specialised in the field of teaching. The exams are quite hectic.
The faculty were friendly and their way of teaching is very good so that a student can understand very simply and the exams will be conducted in a pattern wise manner in which there will assignments and quizzes, we can pass if follow up every topic which is taught in class by faculty.
