A big campus and green environment all sports grounds are available

Likes

It is located in the main city of Ahmedabad. So the shops are easily accessible.
The alumni network there is quite amazing so you can gain a lot of experience from them.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not that good, it makes you feel inferior sometimes.
If you're from North India then you'll not like mess food there.

Our courses are not as relevant to the current job scenario. But teachers are amazing, so they keep motivating us to learn something new all the time. My experience is that our curriculum is not that relevant to the current job scenario.

There are total of 4 exam per year which are 2 mid sem and two gtu based exams and each and every course provide here is excellent and they take care of modern needs and they also provide practical knowledge during workshops

This is government college so their college fees is less so i can afford it.
There is hostel facility with less amount of fees.

Dislikes

College infrastructure was to old and required renovation
There is no placement guarantee. In our batch there only 50 % students gets placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is good except 1st and 2nd semester. In this two-semester curriculum are not really related to the course. There is no real-world application or further academic pursuits in curriculum preparation.

Hostel seats are very less because of that all student have to live outside

Every year has 2 semester and each semester of 6 month so there is enough time to complete the course of 6 month and faculty complete the syllabus with the time and also doing practical side by side .

Campus, faculties,SSIP ,supportive environment, especially computer department is great
Campus faculties are good they recently organised a expert session from apple senior sde who taught us that DSA is important

Dislikes

Overall everything is good but some hostel infra can be improved
Lighting in night can be improved so we can walk around freely

We recently got new syllabus for new branch ai ml but in the first year we learnt about general subjects and it's total waste, they say you should be Jack of all but it is just an excuse not to change and redesign the curriculum.after that the syllabus is good we learn about os,oops ,DSA which are essential so they are good.

Canteen , this is probably the most famous place for every Ldians.
Ground is the most memorable place for all sports connected persons as well as others.

Dislikes

Heat is so excessive in Ahmedabad. So this probably is the a factor I dislike.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The factor that leads me to choose the mechanical branch is that first of all, it is the evergreen branch. This is the core branch of the engineering field. Unlike other branches, the competition in this current emerging IT/Computer field is less in comparison, so the scope for employment is greatest.

The atmosphere of College for academic is quite interesting and is very much helpful.
Also the lush green campus and the sports facilities are good

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not much good as well as the mess food is quite average
Classrooms of ldce gives you an old college vibes

The aspects for opting this course is surely about the upcoming and practical usefulness in future. Also this course would surely overtake many of the courses in future for sure. Exam would be taken like a mid sem and end sem in every semester.

The Staff and Teaching in the college is so good. Also staff in fast responsive and good helping.
the interior of college is so good. mess facility is very nice.

the department's building is very old and not good constructed.
it is not looking like college, it's been as construction site.

in technical department like comp.,IT there are not so good and advanced course. Other department can stay on the course designed by university, but in technical course we can't stay only on the course.

Most favourable is the canteen and badminton court which are placed in between the college

Dislikes

Some of the faculties are not responsible for our education
In our college there are the practical sessions are not taking more because of every personnel assessment like knowing a new facilities of practicals
