In my course nest teaching method is to read by urself and understand what narrator is saying and what he means by that novel poem or anything Exam are easy if you have read the novel you can answer each and every question but yes they are lengthy

Course duration is the four years that go on a semester basis. The faculty of the college is not very good. I took this course in English Literature which I enjoyed while studying. The faculty team is very big. The ratio is 4:1. I give all clarification about faculty qualifications average qualification have Ph.D. but most of the teachers studied outside India at reputed universities. Term exams are for 6 months and the exam is moderately to difficult you have to concentrate on your studies till the semester.
I chose BA(hons)English because i love to learn about literature and novel from the globe, faculty of my college is very friendly and ratio between students is perfect with staff. And thein teaching method is impressive and they are well qualified.
I chose English honours because of my interest in humanities. Literature is a mirror of society and makes us understand society better. We get to understand different points of view that belong to different groups. It makes us sensitive towards them. There were 6-8 teachers appointed for every semester to teach a class of thirty people. We had two sections. The faculty was highly encouraging and friendly towards students. Students could reach out to them at any point when they needed guidance. Teaching method was lecture method and teachers also organized workshops, seminars and conferences for students help. We had exams at the end of every semester. and in between semesters we were given assignments to write. Exams were not difficult to pass.
I chose B.A English Hons as I have an interest in literature and this course was all about literature. We had different genres of literature in our course such as fiction, drama, romance, and subjects varied from Indian classical to European classical literature and British literature. The faculty was quite well experienced and qualified. we had great teachers whose way of teaching was excellent. If we talk about the student's ratio overall there were 90 students out of which 98% comprised of girls and the remaining 2% boys. It was never difficult to pass and exams were conducted timely in a very systematic way after every 6months we had our exams. We had 6 semesters in all 6 months each including examination.
I chose this course because I had always been fond of novels but couldn't take arts in 12th so being from PCM background it was a huge change in my academic like Dyal Singh evening college helped me a lot gaining confidence about this course. The student ratio in our class is 5:13 and there are more girls in the course but the boys are equally dedicated to literature. The course has 6 semesters for 3 years with 2 core papers 1 generic elective and 1 each in the first semester. The college takes and semester exams and they are not really difficult if you have good preparations.
All the faculty members are highly qualified and very co-operative. The faculty and students ratio is around 1:10. All the semester exams are conducted by the University of Delhi. Odd semester exams are generally held in the month of December and even semester exams are conducted in May.
English honours were chosen for the passion of literature 1:30. But during combine classes. It's 1:60/70. Qualification and teaching method are directly proportional to the faculty average conducted by UGC and judgement is based on luck.
All perfect, every teacher gives 100% while explaining lectures in amazing way English honors will enhance your interpersonal skills and enhance the quality of your thoughts. It gives immense hopes, new mentality to our thoughts which ultimately gives new direction of life
Both Shyam Lal College and Dyal Singh Evening College are good options for pursuing a BA in English Hons. There are good faculties for English in Delhi University. So, it’s up to you to utilize that opportunity.
As it is an evening college, adapting to Dyal Singh College’s schedule or timing can be challenging. If you are looking for a conventional college schedule then Shyam Lal College will be better for you.
