Remarks :

I applied for Mata Sundri College at first and got admission in B.A program. After that in the next cut off, I was eligible for English Hons in Dyal Singh Evening College so I migrated from Mata Sundri college and took admission in Dyal Singh in a much better course. I didn't avail any quota at the time of admission. I am from the general category. At least 60% marks in aggregate for General Category in B.A English Hons were required. The admission process was quite smooth there were seniors to help me get my documents and other requirements with the help of cooperative seniors and teachers my admission were done quite smoothly without any hindrances. The admission process didn't take much time Within half an hour everything was done.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.A English Hons as I have an interest in literature and this course was all about literature. We had different genres of literature in our course such as fiction, drama, romance, and subjects varied from Indian classical to European classical literature and British literature. The faculty was quite well experienced and qualified. we had great teachers whose way of teaching was excellent. If we talk about the student's ratio overall there were 90 students out of which 98% comprised of girls and the remaining 2% boys. It was never difficult to pass and exams were conducted timely in a very systematic way after every 6months we had our exams. We had 6 semesters in all 6 months each including examination.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies such as Homeflic WeGrow, Kind beings, Yuva, Teach for India and many other NGO's come and some other private companies such as planet spark come and offer various roles such as Marketing, Graphic Designing, HR, Content Writing and Creation, Social Media Marketing, Sales and other profiles with a minimum stipend of 5000-10000 rupees.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college are not so good. From the 5th semester or 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package is 8-9 lakhs and the average is 4-5 lakhs. 40% of the students get placed every year. Roundabout 10-15 companies visited and made offered to 20%of the students. My plans after graduation are to look for a job in the domain of HR or Human Resources.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee was not so high it was nominal.12000 in first-year and it decreased with each coming year. There were scholarships for students who scored 8 or above 8 CGPA. College also provided financial assistance to those students who could not afford college fees and other expenses. I didn't get any job through campus.

Campus Life :

Every year Raginigandha, and other fests were organised by different departments such as Comhub of the commerce department, literary meditations of the English department in February and March. All the books related to all the courses were available in our library was huge without shortage of books. We had well equipped and furnished classroom. They were not chaotic and each course had a different block in college. Every now and then sport's competitions were organised in college. All kinds of sports were entertained by our college such as basketball, cricket, archery etc. NSS, Rotary club, Fine arts, Akriti and many more dance clubs, drama clubs were run by students. For students of each year, there were groups created in order to reach out for any kind of help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course according to my needs and choices... It offers us with 4 additional subjects which I'd say are valuable in terms of knowledge.. Subjects like environment science, ethics and culture etc prepares us for real world applications of further academic pursuits as my goal is upsc and there's a topic called ethics and culture Teaching can be improved if they provided us with digital boards as porta cabins do not have any smart boards Frequency of exam is ok neither too exaggerated and nor too low

Placement Experience:

We will have campus placement with Amazon company only and it comes in our 5th semester with a very attractive package around 4.6 lack per annum. There is no percentage barrier to get hired, as it is completely based on our interview performance. In case if we haven't got campus placement, we have many other opportunities in co-operating sectors, translation field, tourism field, govt embassy, etc. So opportunities are there for this course.

Remarks:

CIC is busy and fast moving. Unlike most other colleges, where in you would have a fixed schedule for your day and a planned return to your home, CIC will keep surprising you each day. This will end up being your journey towards self exploration, but only if you make the most of everything it has to offer.

Remarks:

About the college, it is a decent college and the students here are nice. The seniors are supportive and we have many societies one can join for co-curricular stuff. The college follows anti-ragging policy and thus ragging is prohibited. The teachers are well experienced and trained apart a few. The infrastructure of the building is decent and the classroom is spacious too. They are just like one has in their schools. We have a great auditorium in which the Air conditioner rarely works. The canteen is great too. The ground is good and regularly maintained. The library has good seating capacity as well as is air-conditioned.

Remarks:

WiFi is terrible and limited. You only get 15 GB per month. It troubles while connecting to it. It connects and disconnects frequently. It's better to have your own data pack. System of Jamia is poor. Staffs of the Examination Controller are lazy, slow and commit a lot of mistakes due to which many students suffer.
