  • The degree benefits career-switchers who are new to data analytics, as well as those seeking to level up their analytics skillset. Our faculty design the program to be accessible to students entering without an extensive mathematical, statistical, or computing background. Students take core classes covering foundational skills for policy-related data science, including statistics, research design, and programming for data analysis.
  • Beyond the core, students select from a range of courses on policymaking, politics, and data science methods. With this skillset, graduates from the Data Analytics and Policy program may find themselves working in government agencies at the local, state, and federal level, with think tanks or nonprofit organizations, or in private sector firms adjacent to politics and policy.

If you have completed a bachelor’s degree at a college/university in a country where the official language is not English, but where the sole/primary language of instruction, writing, and testing is English are exempted from submitting a valid ELP test score. However, you must provide documentation from the college/university confirming English Language instruction; documentation can include a certificate, letter, or other official document stating the language of instruction.
