- I liked the dorms, dining halls, facilities
- I liked the large percent of international students
- I liked the opportunities i have access to
Dislikes
- The college can be isolating since there is no campus
- It is very competitive- hard grading, hard to join clubs
- Very expensive + the city is very expensive
Campus Life
- NYU has multiple campuses, with the main one located in Manhattan, and additional campuses in Brooklyn and Abu Dhabi. The campus offers great facilities like a large library, sports centers, and medical services available to all students.
- Some popular fests and events include NYU’s Strawberry Festival, Welcome Week, and the NYU Music Festival. There are also cultural and career events throughout the year. There are tons of clubs and organizations, including ones for academic interests, cultural groups, volunteer work, and career networking. Personally, I’m involved in debate, student government, and a community service club. Extracurricular activities are huge at NYU, with options to participate in sports, theater, music groups, and even entrepreneurial events like pitch competitions.
Likes
- Top College in US and is in NYC
- Provides a lot of facilities such as wellness things, student support, gaming utilities etc.
- Faculty is really good and knowledgeable.
Dislikes
- Expensive. Tuition fee is extravagant.
- Less student aid offered. It should offer more student aid to make life easier.
- Have to pay for credits used for internship.
Campus Life
- My college have a lot of campuses. They have quite a lot in New York, Washington DC, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi. All of the facilities are available in most of the campuses such as student lounge, basket ball court, swimming pool, library, medical center, gym etc.
- Major campus festivals are NYU All Campus Tournaments in which various departments across NYU compete in various games to win prizes. There are a lot of clubs for extra curricular activities such as painting club, singing club and many more.
Fees
- The fee structure is around $70000. There are 4 semesters each consisting of 9 credits. Remaining 3 credits can be divided into 1.5 each which allows you to do summer and spring internships.
- Cost of per credit was around $2305. Insurance cost is separate which is around $3k. The fees are charged semester-wise and have to before every semester begins. I pay $800 for a private bedroom including all utilities and $200 for food and $70 for transportation.
Likes
- NYU is known for its research, and many professors are considered pioneering researchers in their field, so being at NYU gives me many chances to work with them.
- NYU has more than 18 schools in its New York Campus, which lets me explore courses and careers in many diverse fields.
- As it has many schools within the university, so I get to make great connections in academia, as well as industry.
Dislikes
- It is a very costly university, so I have to pay high tuition fees.
- The university has an open campus, which does not look good.
- It is in New York City, so living expenses are also high.
Campus Life
- NYU has basically two campuses in New York City. One in Manhattan, and the other in Brooklyn.
- All the campuses have been equipped with the same facilities, including libraries, sports complexes, and medical services.
- The major festivals are Tech Fest, Diwali, New incoming students Orientation, New Year party, etc.
- They celebrate events from all races around the world. Like Holi, Diwali, Lunar New Year, Dragon Fest, etc.
Fees
- 74000$, 2450$ for each credit, and the degree requirement is 30 credits. So, the credit * cost of each credit is the total tuition fee, which is 740000$.
- Semester-wise, but according to credits taken in the respective semester. So, it is also not the same every semester.
- 1000$(600 rent, 200 groceries, 200 - bills, 100 - miscellaneous). Some of my friends also spend around 1500 on monthly expenses.

Overview
I chose this college because I wanted to upskill my copywriting skills and Humber College was the only college which offered a course that would help me do so within the budget that I had planned. Overall experience I would say has been great so far. Right from the moment I came here it has been a smooth ride. I enjoyed the courses I chose, I made good friends.
Campus Life
The campus is beautiful. It is quite scenic and the classes are spacious and well-equipped. Also, there are activities that happen at Humber round the year.
Likes
- Professors and labs were as I expected it to be. They also have a student club for hack nights.
Overview
Overall this is a great university to be in. It has a lot of different facilities which can benefit future students. The curriculum is great and practical and will make sense to you in your job as well. Living in New York is also amazing. It is one of the best cities.
Campus Life
There's not a typical college life here, but there are a lot of student clubs which we can join.

- Best University- Stern School of Business is Best Business School where I got admit.
Overview
Till now it has been great. Extremely tough curriculum, but it is after all NYU. There have been many great events. Even one job fair. It is great but little too expensive. For MS students in Courant and Stern they don’t give any scholarships which is bad. Otherwise great. Good faculty, tough but good.
Campus Life
Great campus. Well build structure. Many extracurriculars clubs, events and activities on campus as well as great research facilities, libraries, WiFi, 2 gym facilities etc.
Likes
- NYC, good rank. Amazing professors. It wasn't until I reached here I found out that the college had soo much more to offer.
- Tons of resources. There is a state of the art 3D printing lab. The college provides scholarships and awards for attending conferences and we have our own startup lab for students, faculty and alumni. They also provide mentoring and coaching for startups. The professors are very enthusiastic about teaching and are very well accomplished in their research.
Dislikes
- Location, NYC. It is pretty expensive and the subway is horrible. But then again the city has it's charm and soo much to do everyday. The college is also spread out throughout the city so you may have to travel if you have classes in different schools.
Overview
I really enjoy studying at NYU, we have soo many resources that two years does not seem enough to explore and use all of them. We also have a safety cab service where we can book free cabs between 11pm and 6 am but only between campus buildings. We also have a box office where we can book cinema and broad way show tickets for heavily discounted prices. The education here is amazing and you will learn a lot if you choose to. Scoring marks depends on how much you actually learn and perform in the college.
Campus Life
Library 10/10, we have multiple libraries and also have access to the Columbia university library. Clubs, there are so many clubs to choose from. From cybersecurity to anime and gaming. We also have many gyms across NYC for just the students and faculty, we have a huge swimming pool and designated rooms for all the sports. WiFi is free and available throughout the campus, speeds are high and connectivity is easy.
Overview
Location in heart of NYC and a strong finance program with significant alumni presence in the industry were two major reasons I chose this program. Getting a full-tuition scholarship made the decision easier.
Campus Life
The facilities overall were okay. Being in NYC area, we didn’t really have much of a campus except 2-3 buildings. There were plenty of student- led events and opportunities to connect with people from other programs.
Overview
New York university is one the best highly reputed universities. The biggest advantage being it’s location.. based in the heart of New York city.. where there are abundant opportunities and jobs for everyone.
Overview
I liked being in a busy city and since I wanted to study business, there is no better place to be than in NYC. Also, this program is one of the best-ranked undergraduate business programs in the world.
