  • Dislikes:
  • Most of the courses are online including few lab courses which are hybrid (online theory and practical in person lab work). Sometimes that becomes an issue for selecting courses for international students specifically as they cannot choose a subject that they like to maintain their student visa status.

Overview:

My overall experience was good. I got to work part time in 3 different labs at the university and gain knowledge of new skills and techniques used in research.

Overview:

The prestige mostly. At the time I thought that I wanted to be a doctor and Johns Hopkins Hospital had such a great reputation that I thought the university would prepare me for being a good physician.

Scholarship:

I had a need-based/merit-based scholarship that covered most of my tuition and because I did not have health insurance through my parents Hopkins provided a grant to allow the cost of my health care to be covered by the University. I did, however, have to go through a link to the appeal process with the financial aid office in order to gain these grants.
