What students say about Emory University

- As a political science major in the main health and business-focused university, it is easy to focus on the lack of courses. However, specifically in the spring, there are many interesting choices for courses.
- They host job fairs every year, and its up to you how much you would like to work and what your class schedule is. They just ask that you dress professionally, bring your resume, and engage with those at the fair.
- There are many residential complexes around Emory that students have been using for years.
- I had this math professor who is so good that I am going to take an 8:30 am class just because hes teaching it.
- However, I received more money from Emory, so I decided to go there. On top of that, it is the Ivy of the South, so how could I give that up?

I got into Emory University through a program called Quest Bridge. Quest Bridge is a program for low-income or first-generation students. That being said, Emory University gave me the most scholarships. I prepared for admission by attending an event hosted by the school -- virtual and in person.
Located in a city, mid-sized college, the supportive Emory culture and excellent faculty
Emory is the perfect school for a liberal arts + science education. My interests are math, gender studies, and South Asian studies; this combination works very well at Emory. The undergraduate class size is not too overwhelming, nor is too small that classes have a maximum of 10 people. The Math and CS departments are great and overlapping in many ways.
I received a full ride and it was between here or university of Florida. However, I received more money from Emory so I decided to go there on top of that it is the ivy of the south so how could I give that up! There are many opportunities for students in Atlanta especially if you want to be in the medical field.
I chose Emory University because they offered a great financial aid package of $67,000 without loans. It was also the ideal size being a medium-sized university. The university is also ranked 20 according to US News.
Jewish community drew me to accept. Amazing and competitive programs. At the same time has a very friendly environment and all the resources and tools to succeed. In the end, these were the factors that made my decision for me.
