Course curriculum of IIIT SURAT is a very good as it is acquired from top foreign institutes. Course curriculum has only those subject which are related to your branch only. There is a gap of around 1.5 months between mid semester exam and and semester exam

ECE branch is one of the technical branches which has high chances to go up in the future. The curriculum is good enough and only subjects useful to us in future are taught. Exams are conducted twice in a semester as midsems and endsems, while 2 quizzes are conducted one before and other after midsems.

I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering. Faculty to student ratio is very good at IIIT Surat because the intake of students is very balanced and you can interact easily with faculty members. Almost all faculties have done their Ph.D. from a reputed university and the teaching method purely depends upon students, the teaching method is average here. Term exams take place every 2-3 months and it is manageable to crack all the exams if you put in some hard work before the exams. Quizzes are conducted for every subjects every month which helps the students to check their intelligence about the course and can work on it if needed.

According to my rank, I want a good college with decent placements ece gives both options of choosing tech vs non-tech jobs so I chose but it was very hectic. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:30. Faculties are well qualified. But I will not appreciate their teaching skills. They are just average or below average. Exams happen very often so you should be well prepared. End sem exams are difficult because it is 100 marks exams in 3 hrs so there is very much to write.

ECE course is an evergreen course, one can opt for either software domain or core domain through ECE. Faculty to student ratio is 1:11. Faculty have done PhD from IIT and NIT teaching is fair one has to study by himself at the time of the exam. There are 2 quizzes and mid-semester each after 1 month and End semester at last. Exams are easy to pass just study 10 days before the exams and revise the teacher's notes properly.

I like an electronic branch of B.tech. Total 16 faculties and around 480 students approx. Each regular Faculty is PhD qualified and some are from IITs. B. tech course is 8 semesters and each semester has 2 internal exams of 10 marks each 1 semester of 30 marks and an end semester of 50 marks per subject.
IIIT SURAT has only computer science and electronics and communication. I choose this course because my rank was not enough for CS. Faculty are ok.. not too good because they are mostly on contract and there are very few permanent faculty. There are almost only 50-60 students in one branch so student-faculty interaction is good. Permanent faculty are all Ph.D. degree holders compulsorily and their teaching methods are nothing new. They just come in lectures, teach little and leave. They don't care much if the student is studying or not. There will mid sem exams of 30 marks and end sem exams of 50 marks plus 2 Internal quizzes, which will make the total 100 marks accordingly you will get your semester CGPA. Practicals are of 50 marks, 25 Internal and 25 external (exam ). Practicals are easy but mid/end sem exams are a little rough as the curriculum is tough but if you study 2 days before the exam you will easily score around 8 CGPA and believe it is a good result.
I choose of ECE Course because in my rank I have only this option and this is a good option. IN a year there are almost 150 students. ECE - 70-75 And CSE 70-75 And the teachers are also good. So, you don't have to worry about that. Most Of the teachers are well Qualified. And their teaching method was also very good. One has to give exams every semester. And Mid Sems also. So you have to give exam 2 times in a semester. And 3 tests.
The course curriculum in the first year focused around all the Engineering basics. From the second year, we were taught subject-specific modules like analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, satellite communication, etc. The faculty student ratio was 12:1 which is decent enough. We were tested with bi-weekly quizzes before examination.
