In iiits curriculum is more advanced than traditional nits system,due to one extra information in iiit , curriculum is more focus towards computer related field and technology We don't study chemistry in our four year course in place we have data science and algorithms in our second semester only.

ciricullum is mostly not up to date as it iis taking old convention.student has to prepare on its own cannt depend on college too much as they are not very much up to date but clear the basic concepts of the tech industries easily.

The course and curriculum is like nit and not iiit . They teach you engineering physics,maths and engineering drawing which I dotn find to be good for an software engineer, the syllabus is a big chunk .

This course is said to be the best engineering course so that's why I took it. Curriculum is not that good. There is too many that i can't write all of them. Difficulty level of exam is not difficult but checking of that copy is rough.

I get most influenced by this cource because of the placements and all the internship opportunites which i saw on iiit bhopal websites and get attracted toward this branch. The curriculum is preparing us as i expected while taking admission. The faculities are quite good and decent.

Curriculam of IIIT Bhopal is very much placement oriented, it focuses very much on soft skills and communication skills of students.IIIT Bhopal have a very good coding culture. IIIT Bhopal lacks in practical life implementations of things that are tought in there. Lab involvement should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Courses offered by IIIT BHOPAL are Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT) and Electronics Communication and Engineering (ECE). There are only three branches with a batch strength of 375. After landing on to your 1st semester you all will feel like the subjects are very easy as they are related to the syllabus of your JEE examination. So one wouldn't feel any kind of difficulty there and all you have to do is just focus on your coding skills, improving your conversation skills and juat enjoying with friends. I can bet that you all will be able to score well even if you study 1 week before the final end-of-semester exams. Exams are not very hard and the question paper is designed in the institute only the answer sheets are also checked in college so the checking is relatively good and teachers give good marks. So just write anything in the paper related to the topic in order to get a pass and try to keep your cgpa above 8 from the first semester only.

Curriculum of the course is of moderate level. Is isn't soo professional as good nor so worse in terms of the planning. The exams are conducted in the three formats that are in the mini, mid and end exam format. They are of 1hr, 1hr 30mins and 3 hrs respectively.

I know some of the people from both institutes. Based on what I heard from them, IIIT Bhopal is better than IIIT Ranchi.
A few of the reasons to choose IIIT Bhopal are as follows.
- Mentor Institute: IIIT Bhopal is mentored by NIT Bhopal and classes are held inside the campus of NIT Bhopal itself. So you will have access to all the experienced faculty and facilities you would have got if you were in NIT. Being in NIT, you can participate in all the national-level competitions.
- Location: The location of IIIT Bhopal is great. It is located in the peaceful city of Bhopal. It has less traffic and the college is close to both the airport and railway station.
- Hostel: Hostels for the first are at RGPV University, which is the head university of all the engineering colleges in the state. It has a huge campus with modern facilities. Buses are provided from hostel to college and that too free of cost.
- Food: The quality of food at the canteen is not so good.
- Academics: Academics facilities are great and you have to work hard to stay in sync with the syllabus. The course-work will be quite hectic in the first year and you would be given 30,50 or sometimes even 100 questions as an assignment. You will learn C-Programming, HTML, CSS, latex, etc.

IIIT Bhopal is better for CSE. It is recognized on a national level. A B.Tech degree from the institute will have better recognition in the industry. It has a brilliant faculty base. IIIT Bhopal is mentored by MANIT. Faculties from MANIT visit the campus for guest lectures.
