Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this curriculum because i was short of the merit in neet exam ,but now i find the curriculum interesting The curriculum teaches you many practical things that would help you in your professional life.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities offerd are the RAWE conducted by the extension officers and professors, students are supposed to visit rural villages and meet up farmers help them with their day to day practices on farm, collect information about the practices followed and guide them for their benefit.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total curriculum cost are different for the students under different quotas the NRI students have to pay around 1.5 lac per annum, the self finance students have to pay around 1.1 lac per annum and government seat students have to pay around 20 thousand per annum. Scholarship are give to students who get admission through ICAR , some meritorious students are alsso given scholarship

Campus Life :

Annual and techical festivals are almost nil now . The library offers handsome amount of books and journals to the students. The classes are equipped with smart boards and white boards Sports and extra curricular activities are not ample they need to be imptoved

Admission :

The addmission is through SKUAST CET the cutt of for agriculture is quiet low around 75 /180 for general category students The exam is conducted every year and the application is through the official site of SKUAST J Then the students are called for counseling according to their marks obtained in 4 rounds .

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is good , if a teacher is absent the class is taken up by co instructors. Some faculty members are very enthusiastic and supportive whereas some are very negligent about the course of students . Interaction with teachers is quite good you can interact to them whenever you feel like interacting.

Placement Experience:

The campus is given to students for MSC courses in skaust. The biggest problem here is that no companies or else visit here and we totally rely upon the govt jobs. About 60% of students get it to Govt offerer jobs and others get it to other fields. I think I will go for PhD and will do research in the future.
