Dislikes

VIT Chennai has a strict set of rules and regulations that some students find to be overly restrictive. These rules can cover everything from dress code to curfew to social interactions. Some students feel that these rules stifle their freedom and in
VIT Chennai is known for its rigorous academic programs. The workload can be very demanding, and some students feel that they are not given enough time to complete their assignments or study for exams. This can lead to stress and burnout.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the CSE ai and robotics course because in India the robotics course was limited and in the future, there will be total depend on ai so I have chosen this course. Coming to the faculty teaching was good. The faculty were highly satisfied with the performance and a maximum amount of faculty completed the pg. The term exam was every 45 days it was tough to catch the syllabus.

I liked the labs as they are fully equipped with modern favilities and ac.
I liked the good stalls as there are bariety of foods available.

Dislikes

I dislike the behavioud of the guards and faculty when they see opposite gender talking.
Ffcs is system is not gud at all . It shous be eual for everyone.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good. Students from semester 6th onwards are eligible for placements. Microsoft, Wells Fargo, and visa are some of the super dream companies that come for recruitment on campus.

Likes

Good classroos which are spacious, it can accomodate the large population in the campus
The campus is very spacious with a lot of greenery and a lot of fast food places

Dislikes

The time tables are a bit restrictive and can be made more flexible

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested in computer science and hence opted for this course. the faculty is not that great but the syllabus and curriculum are good. They can make it more practical rather than a full theory course. and the credit system could be a bit more flexible.

You can meet a lot of friends because there's a lot of shuffling and you can form groups to get friends together in a class every semester.

Dislikes

Staff or Teaching problems, some of them felt like not worth it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and all educative details will be provided in a student portal called "VTOP" you can login as admin,student,parent alumni,etc. There you will find the course list, during inaugration week they will provide you credentials and full course list, and after every semester they will revise courses that are available for that semester and provide it to students. The course selection process is unique in vit, we have to create our own timetable with the given teachers for the course-list they provide, in a way it is advantageous for day-scholars to choose and opt to head out earlier from college, and hostellers can adapt easily to whatever time they want. Faculties are full and full dependant on reviews in our college, we have lists of teachers as good/bad/average, we rank them on the basis of class average and teaching strictness and you can hear them from your peers and seniors, discuss and choose the faculty. The teaching quality wise it is decent.

we can borrow any sports equipment that we like to play with during our free time at no additional cost.
We frequently get updates about various internships and research opportunities through our college mail.

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded and can be very difficult to catch a lift.
College bus timings do not correspond with class timings well enough.

I chose my course because I am passionate about computer science. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:70. Faculty are qualified. Teaching method varies from faculty to faculty. Term exams are held once per month and difficulty varies from course to course. But generally, they are moderately hard to pass.

As intake is huge almost everywhere there are crowds and waiting time.
vegetarian food options are very limited, only 1 outlet is pure vegetarian in whole campus.

I chose this course because it had scope, the faculty-student ratio is 1:70, all faculties are phds and qualified but there are exceptions, the exams are as planned and passing is not a big deal unless you have come unprepared.

campus is very green and beautiful it is fun to roam around.

the security is very very strict pda is also there.

After 3rd year they become eligible. many big companies come like google amazon Microsoft this year some 832 companies came the number of offers was around 14157 average ctc was 9.23 lpa highest ctc was 1.02cr it is 100 percent placement only, ill be also sitting for placements after the degree.

The Campus life and the experiences I gained.
The exposure it provides to the students.

Dislikes

The classrooms could've had air conditioners based on the temperature of Chennai.
The size of the campus is a bit small owing to the fact that the strength is 8k.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is the same for the first two years and subsequently becomes oriented towards your discipline during the last two years. The faculty-to-student ratio is really good and the majority of the faculties are doctorates. Exams are a little tedious and conducted with a time crunch but still bearable.

Greenary and ambience is quiet excellent. Campus size is just enough.
Too much availablity of knowledge everywhere as event and challenges comes up time to time

Dislikes

Sometimes the college is crowded and too much students in a class
Management is not very good and so are the websites .

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
