there is nothing like you have to choose the course they give you list of the subject for that only you have to choose the subject and they give the choice in between some subject but it is irelevant because you choose any course in this sem you have to chose the other subject in other sem.In every couse you need to make some project that really hel in real world application. The faculty can improve the teaching method my giving real time experience

The curriculum is quite good as you have many number of options for the course you want and specializations. They prepare you for interview and internships. But it also depends on the the teachers you got cuz if your teacher is strict and doesn't teach well you won't gain any knowledge as well as your CGPA will go down. Exams happen after every 2 months approx.

I liked the curriculum, it is application based mostly and very helpful for real world applications. Areas of improvement would be I would say the First year common subjects which i doubt i will use ever in my life, but except that it's good. Exams are not that hard, also if it's relative grading anyway so I guess your marks won't be affected much as the whole class average would be low.

Yeah the course they provide are actually good but some of them are literally useless idk why they include those course they just donit for like so that students will get back in that course and students should pay for it

Computer science has lots of future scope. One can go for other fields following it like in research field or more. The curriculum is strict but can be completed if managed properly. The syllabus should be evenly spread for all semester for less load.

Academics and Examinations at vit are very well planned and effective. CSE core at vit chennai is famous as many students got offers from MNCs. There are many courses we can choose as an elective Vit also gives us experience with the industry experts As far as now there are no improvements I would suggest, The frequency is perfect, not less not more, difficulty level changes , like if the exam is closed book then it is comparatively easier than open book exam

Usually, there are some foundational couses that are compulsary , they don't mean much but the math is necessary. Also starting from the second year we are allowed to choose courses we like , either from technical or non technical side, they are so many courses. These curriculum includes theory as well as lab, So what all things you learn in theory there in lab you can directly apply them like solving real world problems and create new methods etc. Course curriculum need to be updated every year and in teaching methods it is suggested to have more one on one interactions with the students. Every 40 days there will be exams and i think the difficulty level is ok because it is the only way to filter out students.

The course curriculum covers most of the important topics of the subject, they are allotted n hours for completion and most of the professors include DAs relevant to the ongoing topics which help in better understanding the subject.
As a former EEE student at BITS Goa, I would not recommend taking up EEE at BITS Hyderabad if you want a career in the field of software engineering.
Here are the reasons why-
Based on all these points, I would recommend choosing CSE at VIT for better job prospects in the IT sector.
Based on mine and my friends’ experiences, here are some points I would like for you to consider in this regard-
The decision has to be made by you, but I hope that these points will guide you. Whatever you choose, make sure to maintain a good academic performance in college, so that you end up getting decent job offers.
According to a senior of mine who has graduated from NIT Raipur, the institute is better than most top colleges in Bangalore including VIT institutes.
Despite having a soft spot for NIT Raipur, she does not discourage candidates from trying their luck at any other university, including VITs. She, however, suggests that they should get acquainted for measuring progress after completion of the undergraduate degree.

Course:
Placements:
In the case of NIT Raipur, almost every candidate will get at least one job, in recent years many also bagged two jobs. The ones who have, get a package of 4-8 LPA for the first job, and a package of as much as 16-17 LPA for the second job. Candidates who do not get a second job also land a job with a package of 4-8 LPA.
Overall, it is safe to say that CSE from NIT Raipur will be a good option.
Personally, I feel VIT Vellore is a much better option than DSCE. Except for its location, VIT Vellore has an upper hand in almost all aspects be it infrastructure or placements. However, if you are not getting a branch of your choice at VIT Vellore or you are getting a less preferred branch, then DSCE can be considered. But if you are getting CS, ISE, ECE, and EEE at VIT Vellore then it should be given a preference to DSCE. Considering specific parameters
Overall, VIT Vellore seems a more promising choice than DSCE although the difference seems to be very slight.
ECE and CSE are two different departments, providing separate career opportunities. VIT Chennai and Amrita University Bangalore offer decent placement to students in these departments.
The points below give a brief overview of both the choices:
Therefore, both ECE at VIT Chennai and CSE at Amrita Bangalore are good options. It is the choice of the student as to what excites him/her the most and opts for a degree in the same.
