All the CSE core courses are properly designed but I had problems with the ML course, it was poorly designed and we were not given proper materials to study for the exams. We were also not given sample questions.

firts years the courses are basic science and math, later on from 2nd year we get course oriented subjects and language and sts are important even though they arent related to the course, there many more subjects which are not mandatory but you can still take them as your choise

The curriculum of the courses is comprehensive, detailed, in the scope of the level of study, includes relevant projects and practical approach. Improvements can be in decreasing the number of courses that have associated projects with it as it is of not that importance for minor courses or theory based courses. Frequency of exams is fine per semester - CAT 1, CAT 2, Finals (CATs serve as a mid-term divided into two exams)

The course is designed well with containing all the basics of any engineering course starting with maths , chem and physics Along with coding languages like python , Java , c and C++ . DSA and web development are available in every cse course along with specialization. For my course ai ML there are good course such as machine learning, deep learning, python libraries to use in training and building AI models , along with all this the university also focus on developing emotional intelligence in its students to crack the job interview and get a good placements or internships which are converted into a PPO . The exams patterns are CAT 1,2 and a final term FAT for both theories and lab courses.

The course curriculum in our college is very good. It is designed very perfectly for the students and it helps students a lot. In our college we will have cat-1, cat-2 and Fat exams in one semester . Both theory and lab exams will be there.

As a computer science major in VIt Chennai the curriculum is excellent made in such a way it helps you develop your skill set and also the basic understanding of the subject and mathematics in such a way it's easy for the students to learn and achieve. The exams are hard and there are two internal exams once a month and a final exam.Out of these two internal exams one is a open book test which has proven to be the most hardest.

The curriculum is very good and I took this course based on my interest in the field of Btech. Yes, the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. There are no improvements needed. Exams are conducted three times per semester. The difficulty level is moderate to easy.

There are 3 exams in one semester- 2 cats (continuous assessment tests) and one fat ( final assessment test). Other than that, 2 assignments and a quiz are also conducted which also carry marks. The curriculum is fine and gets updated every year to meet the necessary requirements. Some faculties are really good while some are very bad as well. You have the ffcs system which gives you the flexibility of choosing your teachers and class timings according to your cgpa.

The reason I chose cse with specialisation in artificial intelligence and robotics is because it has a really good scope in the future. As AI is taking over the world it's gonna be really helpful to study in that sector. The syllabus offered for my course that is. Artificial intelligence and robotics is pretty crucial as they teach about all the important aspects from basic and henceforth they do prepare us for real world situations. Our syllabus is split into lab and theory. In theory they explain about the theoretical aspect of the course from the basic and explains the "WHY" aspects clearly. Lab is where everything we learn in the theory class come into real world scenarios as we get the chance to use and practice with all the components. VIT is a good college for placements but in terms of faculties there should be improvement, not all faculties are bad but I personally prefer self study over their teaching
