The college will try to screw you over for your mistakes but somehow you will be able to handle things. There are teachers who understand you but there are many teachers who wont understand your problem and will not at all try to help you. Try following the rules ajd regulations and remain in the good books of teachers. There is a bit of discrimination there towards north Indians but you can handle all of that.
One of the finest institutions our country has produced. There's no need of any second thoughts in case you've any idea of joining the institution. Student pursuing their degree here are sure to pass out flying colours.
You will be paying so high to get a btech degree from a tier-two College. If you are a north indian you will be discriminated. If you are a girl , VIT is like a jail for you. After paying about 16 lakhs for your btech , you would end up getting a job of 3 lakhs per annum.
The college management is not inclusive with the students in making any decisions regarding them
There are mostly good remarks as in no other private can cope up with VIT at this moment and also the campus orientation proves as such. The world outside is colourful and great for a student to study well and flourish in his career.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
