Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is mainly of design and digital stuffs. Like designing the interiors and exteriors and learning about the pipe lines, color palatte, need in a particular areas, Concepts etc. The course is totally practical with some theory. Exploring practical things is quite nice. Institute teaches practically. More trips and physical activities may be included for better emotional peace. More group activities can be formed so students who are lonely can mingle with others.

The reality of SRM Ramapuram

• The faculties are pretty friendly. Few faculties take extra mile to make sure the students get better grades.
• Have been a party of 90% of the clubs back then, but NSS and eco club used to highly active in SRM ramapuram campus

• Poltics of major dept heads. Most of the HOD look out for bribe if we look into organizr a big event. Beware of CSE Dept 😅
• There isn't any proper ground as such as it's inside the city and the road infrastructure is pretty bad around the campus

Placement Experience:

The placements are common for all the Campuses which will be held in KTR campus. Preference is given over the KTR students than other campuses during the placements. Companies do come to Ramapuram campus too but the highest package was 3 LPA and also jobs offered were for sales and BPO. Placements are pretty disappointing. Especially for core industries like mechanical and civil.

SRM Ramapuram - Pros & Cons

• Quality of education, teaching, allotment of perfect timetable.
• Sports Complex which allows us to play a lot of games and sports

• The fee structure is too high. Also, the fees increases each year which is a burden for newly joining students.
• The campus doesn't have proper greenery and place to sit like other colleges have.

I would rate the course curriculum very highly. It is designed for the overall development of the student. The curriculum includes Yoga, sports for physical wellness and it teaches us design also apart from the chosen Computer science. The curriculum prepares the students to face real-world problems in future. Exams happen each month.
