IIM Amritsar Merit-Based MBA Scholarships
IIM Amritsar offers a limited number of scholarships to its eligible MBA students based on their scholastic achievement and diversity. The amount of scholarship awarded to MBA students is distributed in 2 equal proportions during 2 years of MBA program:-
MBA Scholarship 1st Year: IIM Amritsar gives the scholarships to students based on their prior academic records, performance in MBA admission process, and diversity (including gender, economic, and other factors).
MBA Scholarship Renewal 2nd Year: Students at IIM Amritsar can opt for renewal of their MBA Scholarships from 1st year based on academic performance and conduct during the first year of MBA program i.e. a minimum CGPA of 2.96.
The selected students will receive the scholarship award letter along with their admission offer letter.

IIM Amritsar Financial Assistance for Doctoral Programmes
IIM Amritsar offers a limited amount of financial assistance to PhD students which includes a monthly stipend, an annual contingency grant, and a research grant to attend conferences and seminars. IIM Amritsar Post Doctoral Fellowship Programmes
IIM Amritsar provides financial aid to its post-doctoral fellows yet is limited in number. Apart from the fellowship amount, students shall also be eligible to receive medical insurance as per the latest student welfare policy at IIM Amritsar. IIM Amritsar Government Scholarships
- National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students Scholarship - Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- Students willing to pursue higher degree courses like MPhil, Ph. D or integrated M.Phil + Ph. D qualify to avail the National Fellowship Scholarships.
- Students are selected on merit-based and must possess a minimum 55% marks at PG level from a recognised university to be eligible for National Fellowship Scholarships.
- There are 750 scholarship seats available and there is no specific income criteria for students to be eligible under the National Fellowship Programmes.
- The maximum age to qualify for National Fellowship Scholarships should be 36 years, as on the first day of July of the relevant year of the award of scholarship.

The cost to study is a bit high but it is comparatively less than most of the top B-schools. The packages are pretty well to ensure you can pay off any financial assistance you might get. There are certain scholarships for the needy that are provided on a merit basis.

- The placement scenario is quite decent for a Newer IIM.
Dislikes
- We are currently operating out of a temporary campus and it will take two more years for our permanent campus to get build.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure for the 2022-24 batch is 16 Lacs for tuition and hostel and another 1.5 Lacs extra for mess. The scholarship is given to the top 7 students in terms of CGPA at the end of the first academic year. The job scenario is quite decent with an average salary of 16.51 Lacs and the highest salary of 36 Lacs for our senior batch.

- Hostel life, Faculties, Class Discussions.
- Ample opportunities to learn, grow and network.
Dislikes
- Daily transit from Hostel to College is unbearable.
- Strict rule on attendance (80%), else grade drops.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Fees increase every year. Roughly by 10%. One can get collateral-free loans from SBI, and UBI if studying under the IIM brand name. No opportunity for campus jobs. Fees are to be paid around 10 days in advance of the term starting.

- Sports facilities and recreation room for fun
- Hostels and rooms allotted. Plenty of space
Dislikes
- No permanent campus. Have to go in buses to college
- Mess food quite expensive but not as good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fees are quite high but the case remains the same for all MBA programs. As compared to non-IIMs of the same tier the fees are still lesser. Top 7 students of the. Batch gets a scholarship from the. College. It amounts to a waiver of tuition fees for the whole academic year.

- The faculties are knowledgeable and approachable.
- The hostel and mess facilities are very good.
Dislikes
- Distance between transit campus and hostel, it takes 30 mins to travel one way.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The total course fees of IIM Amritsar are 16 lakhs for two years which are the tuition and hostel fees. There is also a mess fee which is Rs 25000 for each term. Only one academic scholarship is provided to the top 7 students who perform well in the 1st year, and their tuition fee is waived.

- The accomodation provided by the college is very good.The room is spacious and every facility is there.
- Faculty member is very friendly and helpful.
Dislikes
- The thing that i disliked is not having a permanent campus. Though its not a big issue as the transportation facility is being provided by the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure of this course was 16lakh for the two-year program which includes both the course fees and the hostel charges. The loan facility is there for this program. The jobs are decent. The average package for this is around 1600000. The scholarship is also given to the top performers of the Institute.

Dislikes
- Despite of being a student driven college, still lot of power is with management
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The cost to study is a little high but so is the Return on investment with the IIMs which in return decreases the cost of study. I got no Scholarships. The fee structure is pretty well defined and you can easily have the placement on campus there is 100%.
Likes
- Campus Life is really great. You get to make great connections.
- Industry exposure is quite real in this college.
Dislikes
- Permanent campus is still in progress for now.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
We are unaware of the fee hike policy. However, the fees remain the same until and unless there is any major introduction for ex: a permanent campus. Directors' Merit List, Top 7 students receive a full refund of tuition fees.

- Students actively participating in the classroom
Dislikes
- Travelling daily to the transit campus as permanent campus is not available

Fee 16 lacs for the course plus 25000 mess and hostel fees for 3 months Many live projects are floated as also scholarships for merit list students and CFA cleared students, stipend varies from company to company
