Course Curriculum Overview :
Around 55:1 faculty ratio. Some teachers were exceptional, some were good and some below par too. Most are PhD passout from top IIMs, with previous teaching experience in B schools. Had visiting faculties too from top IIMs. Exams were after 2.5 months, at the end of term.
Internships Opportunities :
Summer internships are relatively below par. Less opportunities. Stipends ranged from 0 to 150000 Per month. Various startups and some MNCs come for internships. Roles include Sales, marketing, Finance, PM, etc.
Placement Experience :
100% Placements through campus. Process starts after completion of 4th term. Highest package around 40 LPA - Abroad and average around 15 LPA. Plenty of MNCs offering diverse profiles. From IT, Consulting, Automobile, FMCG backgrounds.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees increase every year. Roughly by 10%. One can get collateral-free loans from SBI, and UBI if studying under the IIM brand name. No opportunity for campus jobs. Fees are to be paid around 10 days in advance of the term starting.
Campus Life :
The online library and resources are amazing. Books and other journals are also ample. Classrooms have AC, projectors, and teaching assistants. Sports facilities include Pool, TT, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Basketball, and Badminton. Many clubs and committees organize events - academic as well as fun activities.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are good. 2 BHK for 4 students. Amenities like a geyser, cupboard, table, chair, bed, balcony, utility shop, park, etc. Mess food is Just like any 'mess food'. Not great, but not terrible either.
Admission :
Through CAT score. I was probably the last person to clear the waitlist. Apply on their website, give PI, and the results. Weightage is also given to academic diversity (non-engineering background), gender diversity (females), and work ex.
Interview Experience :
The personal Interview round is there taken by 2-3 faculties. They ask about previous work ex or projects done during graduation, and the latest happening in the Economy. It's better to brush up on current affairs. And other hygiene questions like 'Why MBA?' Weightage is also given to work ex, gender diversity, and academic diversity.
