NIT Andhra Pradesh Cutoff 2024 (Out): Check JEE Main, GATE & DASA Cutoff

NIT Andhra Pradesh B.Tech cutoffs are released on the JoSAA portal after each round of counselling in the form of Opening and closing ranks. 6 rounds are released on the JoSAA portal and the last two cutoffs are released for the supernumerary seats on the CSAB portal.

NIT Andhra Pradesh JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for B.Tech CSE is 9746 – 16278 (Other States) & 8043 – 14707 (Home State) in round 1 for general category students.

In the year 2023, the overall BTech cutoff for NIT Andhra Pradesh ranged from 14940-19558 ranks for the general category candidates. On the other hand, in 2022 the closing cutoff for the NIT Andhra Pradesh BTech program remained at 15741 ranks.

My life in nit ap

Hostels were so good and 4 sharing for 1st year ,2 sharing for 2nd year
Food was good, we have north and south indian food

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bad like my college doesn't look like college
Too hot in college, the temperature is around 40+ celsius

Admission:

I cleared jee mains exam to study in nit and after that I got admission from 2 colleges one is nit silchar and other one is nit Andhra pradesh, I choose nit ap because it's near to my home town, if any student want cse branch in nit ap they should atleast score 98 percentile in jee mains exam for SC,ST they can score 82 plus in jee mains exam.

LIFE AT NIT AP

The campus life is so good and peaceful.. it's greenery and overall located outside the Town and hence it's pollution free...
The evenings here are so pretty.. the Breeze is so refreshing.. the college life here is pretty peaceful..

Summers here effect us pretty hard.. as this college is located on the coast.. the humidity here is pretty high here.. however there r ac libraries where you can sustain in summer
The mess is average.. one cannot expect the mess quality to be like how it was in home.. but its okay okay and sometimes the curries r too spicy

I've applied to a few private colleges..and a few other NITs.. while I found this NIT ap better than a few private colleges that I opted for.. there are some NITs or IITs i couldn't get into as I couldn't score enough in the JEE mains.. as this is a NIT college and NIT AP is one of the fastest growing NIT in India.. and the placements here are pretty decent which made me choose this college.. the admission process for this college is through the josaa and through the csab.. one has to attempt the jee mains and crack the jee mains and get some decent percentile and can go through josaa counsiling and secure the admission

College life at NIT-AP

Better infrastructure and environment facilities.
Good library, nice freedom to students ,nice hostel facilities

No proper facilities like bank or atleast atm in the campus
No shops or temples or super markets in the campus

I liked this college because, studying in a national institute is every student's dream.It is not that much easy.Particularly,we can't compare this national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious.My main reason that for which I have chosen this college,we (andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college.Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with a best percentile to secure their dream branch.Cut off will be changed every year.It is around 93 percentile to achieve a branch in the college for an Oc student.Overall admission process is very smooth and not that much complex.

Infrastructure is really good and have good environment
Friendly faculty. Provide lecture notes for exams

Mess food . It's average but they need to do better
Placements . They really are not upto NIT mark

Admission into our college is based on JEE mains rank and JOSAA counselling. My rank was around 12k so I easily get seat in our college. One thing that I hate about our college is we have very few fests

NIT ANDHRAPRADESH

i have liked college ground it is so much of big and vast
one of the main thing i have liked is about hostels it is maintained very well

so academic buildings is not as good as i thought
college is also not developed very much it has less infra

you have to qualify in jee mains entrance exam to be admitted to this college. Reservations are also there in this college. In an academic year for every 3 months there will be a semester. For further information check the college website (nitandhra.ac.in).

NIT Andhra Pradesh - Realm

Campus Infrastructure is amazing. The maintainance is proper as well.
College library is so good. It has all sorts of books.

The connectivity is not that good may it be road, rail or air.
The college is near to a small town so no night life.

The eligibility of the course is 75% in boards and also a good rank in JEE Mains. The application is through JEE Mains and College allotment is through JOSSA Counselling. JEE Mains exam is held two times a year and it's moderate to difficult. The areas of improvement can be in the procedure of alloting colleges.

It is the Newest and fastest growing NIT in India. The 1st thing I liked is beautiful campus of this NIT
It has modern and very amazing infrastructure, because it is new you can enjoy extraordinary campus life.

As it is new, it is in its developing state,so you have to compromise in some fields like lawn tennis court is now going to construct.
They are not giving any sports equipment to normal guys

FOR THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE WE NEED TO GIVE THE JEE MAINS EXAM AND ATLEAST 75% IN 12TH BOARDS EXAMINATIONS. IN JEE MAINS YOU NEED TO SCORE ATLEAST 95 %ile TO GET THIS COLLEGE AND FOR CSE YOU NEED TO SCORE ATLEAST 99 %ile. ADMISSION WILL TAKES PLACE THROUGH JOSSA COUNCLING AND YOU GET COLLEGE ACCORDING TO YOUR BRANCH

Story of nit ap

I like the infrastructure and maintenance of the hostal in the college is too good . The college is near the railway station and transport is very easy to reach out destinationas.bus stand is also near the college .
In nit ap the best thing is the cultural fests . In nit ap three fests are conducted.one is techno fest and cultural fest and freshes day

Mainly I don't like the mess.The food is too worse. Better to avoid lunch and dinner in the college . Breakfast is good but lunch and dinner is not that much good
In summer ,while going to the classroom lot humidity .There is no trees through out the route from hostal to classroom

The percentage should be more than 90 to qualify for the college.After selection of college your rank card and secondary education tc and your marks sheet will provide to the college . Then you can pay the fee for the college

Metallurgy rocks

Hostels are very hygienic and clean. They are regularly maintained.
Talking about the department the faculty are very friendly.

Tadepalligudem is so humid and the plac where the college is located is far from main cities so less exposure to many industries.

You need to clear jee mains with atleast 80-95 percentile inorder to get this course. Then should opt for this course in JOSAA rounds. As soon as the admission is confirmed student should directly report to the college.

More of the telugu people dominantion in college

Actually in this college the admission will be taken by jossa and csab councilling only For getting seat in nit you need write your jee mains very well and the cut offs change from branch to branch For cse 10-15k For ece 15-25k For eee 25-37k For mechanical 37-49k For civil 49-60k For metallurgy and chemical 60-80k All above mentioned ranks are all India open catagory ranks ollnly
