I like college faculty because excellent bond between students and teachers.

They were not flexible and sometimes it used to be very difficult to take some time off of work and then take the exam

I chose clinical psychology in Amity University as it's one of the best course in the college. Also, the faculty of psychology department is one of the best. Also, the course is very well structured and fantastic.

Navigating Academia- at Amity university

The college has a very good resource of library, you have private cabinets as well as small discussions rooms a good collection of books are stores and the process is hassel free. Everything is online which makes it easier.
Amity Also has a wide area of playground, Love the swimming pool you can use it everyday, as well as basketball, badminton, arcade and gym. You can easily spend time with friends in canteens or at the ground The fest Is just Amazing

Dislikes

Attendance is compulsory 75% that becomes a hassel and you have to punch in on time if you miss the time your attendance isnt marked, so thats a bit of a hassel everyone goes through it

Placement Experience:

So after completion of my Post Graduation degree in psychology there are many career options one can avail as per their preferences. So uptill now the campus has got 8 company all about counselor or psychologist position listed with different salary range from 2,80,000 to 4,50,000 and so on. Podar Group of Network, 1to1HelpNEt, Mpower and so on. A person can go into teaching or educational filed or go into organizations as well as they can set up their own private practices

Library is one of the most useful services provided in campus.
The food served in campus outlets and canteen is delicious.

Dislikes

Management of University needs improvement.
Sudden deadlines of submission of major projects like dissertation.

Placement Experience:

last semester ensures their eligibility for placement. name of companies: AEG, mom's belief, etc. highest was 35k. In this particular course, the percentage was very low, approx., 5%. M.Phil. is the further plan.

Infrastructe: amity provide great infrastructure and fully furnished classes.
Management: it follows proper management facilities.

Dislikes

Few aspects of the curriculum were missing and i think they could have enhanced multiple areas of psychometric testing.
Teachers attitude: not all the faculties are ready to involve with you and few were not interested in any creative teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is vast and provides good information regarding the scope of this field. They provide good lectures and seminars. The student ratio is 75:1 and I think it is a bit bigger ratio and can have different sections and not such crowded spaces. The faculty is qualified and have great years of experience. They provide good opportunities and exposure for the same.

Placement Experience:

A form is circulated at the very beginning of the course which is about - if we want college placements or wish to continue with higher studies or want help to start with our own venture. Students can select only one of either of these options and the same is taken into consideration in the final year. Each of these options has a special committee set up, so the outcomes are effective. However, in placement, once a company offers the candidate a job then he/she cannot opt for another job opportunity. There are detailed briefings about each job opportunities and we can choose if we want to apply for it or no. Almost everyone gets the placement here (whoever applies for it). For absolute freshers, salary ranges from 2 LPA up to even 8 LPA or even more.
