UPES offers an MBA program in 15 specializations for the duration of two years. Candidates have to qualify for UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) to secure admission in this course. However, UPES also offers admission through Non-Examination Pathway, i.e, on the basis of score in any National Level entrance examination such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ CMAT/ NMAT or XAT. The final selection will depend on the score in the entrance followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

UPES Selection Process 2024

Admission to MBA will be granted on the basis of the UPESMET entrance exam (conducted by UPES) or Any National Entrance exam.

On the basis of a valid score in any of the above-mentioned Entrance test candidates will be called for Group discussion and Personal Interview.

For MBA in Oil & Gas / Power Management / Energy Trading / Logistics & Supply Chain Management / International Business, students with minimum MAT score of 80 percentile will be exempted from UPESMET and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview if qualified. Valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT or GMAT score will also be accepted.
For MBA in Port & Shipping Management / Aviation Management / Urban Infrastructure & Development / Business Analytics/ HR/ Operations/ Marketing & Finance, the students with minimum MAT score of 75 percentile will be exempted from UPESMET and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview if qualified. Valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT or GMAT score will also be accepted.

UPES Registration Process 2024

The application form can be filled online for all UG & PG courses offered by UPES. Students are advised to follow the below-listed steps to apply for the courses offered by UPES: Online Application:

Visit the official website of UPES and click on ‘UPES Admission’ tab on the menu bar.
Click on ‘Online Application Form’ from the drop-down menu.
Click on your status whether Indian Resident or Foreign Resident.
Fill in the details requested and click on ‘Submit’ button.
After form submission, you will receive an email from UPES to verify your email address & to create an account on UPES website.
Now login to the website and fill in the rest of the details.
Submit the application form and pay the application fee of INR 1350 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.
Save the duly filled application form for future reference.

Ans. Candidates can secure admission to the UPES MBA program either through the UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) or through the Non-Examination Pathway. Ques. Can candidates be exempted from the UPESMET based on their scores in other entrance exams?

Ans. Yes, candidates applying for certain specializations such as Oil & Gas Management, Power Management, Energy Trading, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and International Business can be exempted from the UPESMET if they have a minimum MAT score of 80 percentile. Similarly, for other specializations, a minimum MAT score of 75 percentile can exempt candidates from the UPESMET.

Ans. Admission:

The admission process is not that much complicated..there are some basic criteria which needs to be fulfilled in order to proceed further depending on the course u are willing to do ...After that u have to fill the admission form and required to clear the entrance exam of the university..U can directly get admission on the basis of your IIT JEE results.

The infrastructure of the college is really a plus point.
College societies and events helped me out in improving my communication skills .

The only thing i didn't like was irregularities in the system like delays in processing queries in the departments .

For b.com eligibility was simply 70% in 12 boards exam. Application forms , fee structure and dates were mentioned on the official site on the college. Exam happens 2 time per semester one mid semester of 50 marks and 100 marks final exam ,

The environment is very good atmosphere of the college is very good.
Top recruiting companies like ibm, Halliburton, Cognizant, hcl.

The college invites some companies like Dell, Microsoft, VM Ware, but they hire very fewer students.

For entrance UPES have their own entrance exam called UPESEAT. Besides that IIT JEE scores are also considered and if one reaches the advanced level. They get direct admissions. Otherwise management quota options are also available and these are the ways one can enter UPaeS University.

Best teaching professor with best of problem solving skilss

The college has seperate two campuses which make difficult to student to up down.

Fir admission process you have to undergo upesmet aptitude exam which contains the same syllabus as cat after that you have to undergo a personal interview round where a faculty with expertise will take your interview and after the whole process on your mail id you will receive the offer letter whether you have been selected or not .

UPES LLB review

The college has good classrooms and the infrastructure. The faculties are well educated and professional experts .
Competitions takes place every now and then.

In the college fests there is too much crowd
Sometimes we get no parking place for the vehicles

The admission process was quite easy. We have admission department in UPES to guide the prospective students throughout the admission process. Application form is available on the my upes website. And the fee structure and application dates are also mentioned therein. And the entrance exam dates are flexible as per the student's convenience.

The campus is very good and airy as well as the atmosphere around is very good.
The faculty is very nice and helpful and I like many teachers here ...they help the students in many ways.

The fees here is very high and many people are not able to afford it.

50% marks are needed and it gives scholarship on the basis of jee mains and cuet scores. The application form and every detail is available on the official website of the college . Reservations for girls and ews students is provided. On the basis of difficulty level the frequency and timing are okay. Fees criteria should be checked.

UPES: Campus within Natural Boundaries

Events in the campus takes place from time to time which enhances social interaction.

The campus is very far from the main city

The application process is very simple and if I talk about me then I hadn't given any entrance exam for admission but there is an entrance exam present for admissions. The admission process is completely online and even if you visit the campus then also they will give you very well.

UPES, A great citadel on the hills.

The overall Infrastructure of the college is too notch, it's like you're visiting a film city.
The placement facilities of the college is great, even though my course didn't offer any placements but courses like B. tech and B. Des offer a placement rate of over 75%.

The fee structure is ludicrous, a bit too expensive for the working class but it's kind of worth it.
The overall environment of the college is not for the good kids, you'll have to act like a grown-up to make a living there outside of the college.

Anyone can get into B.sc in UPES as the eligibility isn't too constraining. Everything about the admission process can be completed online. I took admission during the covid period so the process of taking admission in the college was all online. No exams, only interviews.

The upes environment is very good and teachers were also teaching very nice way. Faculty also discuss case study with the students so from this we clear our concepts also. Seniors were also helping in this university.
University also provide many extra course which student can opt for it also.

Management of this university is very slow. Some faculty are not teaching upto the mark. Few things they do not brief the students carefully and then they expect from student to sumbit in right way.
Like i choose bba in analystics and big data but they do not teach this subject in 1 and 2 semster.

We have to fill the form from the website upes.org and pay 1300 amount for registration. They take admission from college entrance exam, 12 grades, cuet grade. If we choose from college entrance we also give interview.

Life in UPES

3.1Helpful

The infrastructure is very good. The environment is very clean and hygienic.
The university is very strict against ragging .

The management is very poor, and not good.
Some of the subjects are not relevant in the curriculum.

They check your CBSE boards result or your JEE MAINS result. You can find the application form on the college site. There are reservations for SC/st/obc/ews. The entrance exam is of easy difficulty. In my opinion they should make the entrance exam more difficult.
