The curriculum was varied and merges engineering advances to agricultural processes. The learning was interesting and very helpful as agriculture plays such vital role. The curriculum followed ICAR rules. One can pursue specifications in food processing, farm machinery, soil and water engineering and many related fields. Teachers taught fine in theory classes. Notes we're provided as pdfs which mostly had more information however these notes were generally given before exams.Practical classes were not taken seriously. The designed curriculum was never completed in any semester. Examinations included 2 unit tests followed by final semester exam. The difficulty level of the examinations was moderate.

I opted for this course as I wanted to pursue a course which is the best known from a particular college, so SHUATS is very much known for btech/bsc. Agriculture so I opted for it. faculty and student ratio was 1:4. Qualifications of faculties are very high and appreciable but some faculties are still there which are not up to the mark as others in the same team. Exams are scheduled at regular intervals, sometimes it gets difficult to achieve good marks but it was never difficult to pass.
I chose B.tech agricultural engineering because it is a perfect blend of agriculture and technology. Plus it is one of the flagship courses of this university and provides jobs in the private and government sectors. Faculty to student ratio is 1:120. Most of the professors are foreign returns with solid domain knowledge. Teaching methods are similar to other universities which include 40 minutes of lecture along with long practical classes inside labs and farm fields. Classes begin at 9 AM and overs at 5:30 PM. They give lots of assignments and practicals and class tests are very often followed by three unit tests and 1 end semester exam. All the exams are easy if you attained classes and read class notes.
I want to take admission in that course as I am desired to take admission in that course. There are around 200 faculties and 10000 students . All alof faculties are qualified some of them are a little lazy
I opted for BTech agriculture engineering as I found this course has a lot of scope in future, with less competition as compared to the other engineering branch till now. It's about 1:70 faculty-student ratio Almost all the faculty members are the PhD Dr's with a lot of teaching experience, they provide great quality of knowledge to the students on the other hand there are some faculty members who just don't want to teach they just focus on attendance and assignment. In every 6 months, end terms examinations are held, which are quite difficult to pass, but very useful for the students.
The college curriculum was recently updated to follow all the latest industry regulations. The college curriculum help guys to understand the farming technique very deeply and help us to understand the modern farming techniques too. The faculty of the college is also very cooperative. The faculty are easily approachable we can approach the faculty to help us to understand the concepts and they also help us. The faculty has very good experience in teaching methods that is reflected in their teaching methods.
I personally chose this course because of its success rate there are higher chance of getting goid job in this stream of B.tech(AG) . Student yo faculty ratio is alsi good. There is two sections with 60 students each. There are numbers of teacher who are having M.tech degree and ouy of them several are from foreign countries too. Some of the teachers are pursuing PhD also.. There are regular test series weeks after week and then there is an end term examination in July and December.
I liked Btech agriculture and since SHUATS is a 100 yr old renounces institution I took admission there. Student: faculty ratio is quite good since it's a University about 10:1. A maximum of the faculty members are either doctorate or pursuing doctorate degrees. In one year there are 2 semesters so my course has 8 semesters i.e 4yrs. Sem exam held between September/ October and then between March/April (end sem)
The exams are held timely after completion of half and full syllabus respectively in each semester. The examination level was a moderate difficulty. If you follow notes and classes regularly then you can cope up with all exams.
