Ewing Christian College, an autonomous Constituent College of Allahabad University was established in 1902 as a PG College. It is the first college which achieved affiliation for University Education. Authorized Ewing Christian University College started in 1923 in the proximity of the University, to preserve more significant learning sessions, which is presently William Holland University College. The college campus is located on the northern bank of Jamuna river near Sangam on the southern part of Allahabad city. The college offers various Graduation and Post Graduation courses such as Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education,etc.
It is one of the oldest colleges in India and Dr. Arthur H. Ewing was its first principal. Ewing Christian College was an initiative of the East India Company. The college is spread on the sprawling campus of 42 acres with an eco-friendly atmosphere. It was renamed as Allahabad Christian College in 1910.

ECC Allahabad Admission 2024

Ewing Christian College offers UP Government Scholarship to the students who are eligible for the scholarship. The eligibility criteria is fixed by the UP Government. The students eligible are those whose financial income is less than 1 lakh per year and also there is no Guardian in any Government services. Entrance exam is conducted after which the merit is prepared and students are given preferences accordingly, application form can be found on the college website where all other notifications pop up timingly. Within 2 months the entire admission process is summed up

The entrance test is now through cuet but when i have gone in it's special entrance test taken by college and yss the cut off goes high here special in b.sc. After clearing the entrance test you have to come for documentation and it's a normal process not soo hectic at all.

The admission is very simple, you have to take your CUET exam conducted by the central government by which you can apply for the college. After that, you have to select the course and subject that you want to pursue and make a payment of some 100 rupees for the form then after taking the exam of CUET, you have to wait for the Merit list of the college. ECC is the best college of Allahabad University so its merit usually is the highest but if you study properly in 12th standard you can crack it. After that, you have to see your name in the merit list and go to the collage with your 10 and 12 marksheet and you will allotted the time and date of the classes
