SHUATS Admission 2024: Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process
What's New in SHUATS?
SHUATS Admission 2024 is ongoing for the UG and PG programs. The last date for filling out the online application form is June 30, 2024. Interested candidates can apply through the official website. Other updates are as follows:
- SHUATS PhD admission 2024 for the July-December session is underway. The deadline for the submission of the online application form is July 22, 2024. The admit card for the entrance will be made available on the official website on July 27, and the entrance test is scheduled for August 01, 2024.
SHUATS Allahabad is well known for its popular programs such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, and MBA. SHUATS currently offers its B.Tech programs in 13 different specializations including Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology. Admission to all the undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs is granted on the basis of the SHUATS Online Entrance Test for Agriculture & Pharmacy (SOETAP) and Merit-Based Online Counselling conducted by the SHUATS only. The university charges a total fee of INR 5.46 lakhs for its B.Tech program.

SHUATS B.Tech Admission 2024
The University offers Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) in 13 different specializations. The duration of all the B.Tech courses is four years. Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university, conducted usually in the month of May every year. The application process starts by February.

SHUATS MBA and MCA Admission 2024
At postgraduate level, the university offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) to the students who want to seek admission in management for higher studies. The duration period for the programme is 2 years.
Under the MBA programme, the university allows the students to specialize in various aspects of Business Studies. To get admission, candidates need to appear in an Entrance Test conducted by the University.

SHUATS Application Process 2024
- The prospectus and application form can be obtained by sending a crossed bank draft for Rs. 450.00 (i.e., Rs.400/- for Prospectus & Application Forms and Rs.50/- for postal charges) or $30.00 in favour of the Registrar, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad by registered post
- Note: (Postal orders/ cheques or money orders are not acceptable)
- The prospectus and application forms will be available on cash payment of Rs. 400.00 (i.e. Rs.400/- for Prospectus and Application Forms ) from the university fee counter on any working day, i.e., from Monday to Friday (09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.)
- The candidates can also choose to apply through online application form available on the university website

Ans. No, the SHUATS currently does not offer direct admissions to any of its undergraduate or postgraduate programs and strictly grants admission on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university only.

Eligibility for the course was 10+2 with PCM/PCMB or Inter-Agriculture (marks minimum 45% in aggregrate). The university conducts entrance examination the details of which are easily available on their website. The sessions starts with mid or end of July so one can check for the application dates in June. Reservation is for the Christian minority in entrance examination. Rest no other reservations of any kind are given. The examination is not so difficult.

- The environment of the college is clean, fresh and green. No ragging as well as seniors are friendly and helpful. The faculty is more student oriented and tries to help out the students in all possible ways.

I took SHUATS ENTRANCE EXAM for admission process and further couselling had been done based on rank of scorecard. But Christian were called firstly for counselling and seat had been alloted to them. Then rest of the students were called for counselling and seat allotment. Classes started from August 1st week. You get the application form at shuats website. The level of exam is moderate to easy. I had secured 400 rank and got admission in Genetics and plant breeding. There are many courses like plant biotechnology, plant pathology, entomology, soil science, agriculture engineering, vegetable science, pomology, floriculture, landscaping, etc.

You should be 12+ for opting graduation with agriculture, everything is given on the college website just check it on the month of august. There's an end term exam of 30 marks and rest 70 is given on the basis of 3 test (10 marks each) and rest for the viva and attendance. For admissions, there is an entrance exam conducted by SHUATS itself. The application form can be found on the SHUATS official website and the fee in 2020 was Rs 2000(subject to change now). The application deadlines were mentioned on the SHUATS website. I didn't avail any reservation benefits hence I am not aware of this topic. The admission process was hassle-free and there were faculties and personnel who cooperated in a great way to help us out while we were taking the admission.
