Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Sc Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/Engineering/Technology /Medicine (MBBS/BDS) with at least 55% marks.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must qualify KIITEE Entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I would like to rate it 8 out of 10. As biotechnology is applied area so i choose it to go in industry area and academic also. In university you have to maintain proper time and deadline of assignments and projects...which prepares you for real world application. Practical class are too much good and relevant which is helpful for future application but in some theory classes teaching method should be improved In a semester there are one mid term and one end semester exam.... And there are many assignments and class tests.

- Interaction sessions with alumni, faculties
Dislikes
- fees is quite high for M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Applied microbiology
Course Curriculum Overview:
The NIRF ranking 2022 of KIIT is 20. It is one of the best private institutions to study Biotechnology. The faculty is quite supportive. They held guest sessions with the alumni to learn about their career choices, whether someone wants to go for a job or higher studies, it helped a lot to decide on a career. M.Sc consists of four semesters out of which the fourth semester is quite interesting, students get the chance to perform their dissertation work in the university as well as outside the university. It gives you a chance to explore the research world. The university is very strict with the time and date for exams, and holidays. They go according to the curriculum plans given in the start of the semester and that was a great thing.
Course Curriculum Overview:
M.Sc. Biotechnology has great option for research. You can go for research. And it's really interesting. You may find any job. Now a days there are several job option in M.Sc. Biotechnology. There are 62 students in 2021 -2023 batch in M.Sc. Biotechnology. Faculty : Student = 1:4 All the faculties are highly educated. The process of teaching is totally digital. Ppt based. High-tech classroom . It really helps us. Per semester we have 2 exam .1 is midsem exam and the another one is final sem exam. In between we have class tests and continuous assessments. If you study well, you'll surely get good marks.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
You have to pay 75 thousands for admission and then 4 semester fee of cost 141500 rupee. It's experience but not out of reach of middle class family. All the fees you have to pay by cheque or you have to pay by online.

Now For MSc biotechnology they have 100000 pr semester and hostel fee approx 30000 pr year and they have charge extra examination fee each semester. Fee Structure is very expensive for avarage family.

The fee structure fir 5 year course is quite high.The fee structure for biotechnology department is comparatively higher than other engineering course. This could me probably mainly due to the courrse of 6 years are concise in 5 years.
