The events are good there will plenty of events happen through the year
Being an NIT having the perks of recognition and good opportunities

Dislikes

Nagpur: It is so expensive and is very boring compared to cities like pune hyderabad and even indore
Lots of practical and and labs that makes us very tired

Mechanical course currently in 3rd year

I like the greenery here. The infrastructure is also good. The mechanical department faculty is nice
There are many clubs here which we can join for some extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

There is only 1 canteen which is bad. The mess food quality is bad to ok.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year, we get internship opportunities which is not that great for mechanical. In our final year, we can get placement which is quite good with all students getting placed with average package of 10LPA. Highest package this year is 20LPA. My plan after my degree is doing MBA.

It was a good experience for me . Teachers are very supportive.
Environmental is good 😊 for studies. And there is scope for u to study the subject very interestingly

Dislikes

Everything is good but as I'm a hosteller so I feel some distance from home.n

The course curriculum is very interesting and helps all the students to not only learn about the topics also it increase our ability to understand and understanding regarding the topics . And it is helps in creating new idea that are innovative

VNIT campus has a huge area of about 214 acres. I like the its greenery and peaceful environment
A variety of events happen namely Institute Gathering, Axis etc. So social interactions become great

Dislikes

Over years, its NIRF ranking is going down. One of its main reasons is poor placements.
Similar to other NITs, sex ratio is very less

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Various top companies visited as usual such as IOCL, HPCL, Reliance Industries, Accenture, De Shaw India Private Limited, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Oracle etc. Highest package was offered 50 lakhs by De Shaw India Private Limited. Percent of students placed is around 70 percent. After completing the degree, I look forward to get placed in a top chemical company as I want to become a chemical engineer.

Campus is good and not too big. It is peaceful to walk around the campus.
Girls hostel in time is not too early but not too late

Dislikes

Average cgpa of every branch is different so it affects the placement of the lower average branch.
Lot of couples sir together our of the girls hostel just before in time .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses taught are very helpful for further studies as it helps us in gate exams. Classes frequency is correct, not too less and not too much . But sometimes the professors are on leave because of which 1 week before endsems too many extra classes take place.

College conducts various kinds of events which helps to interact with other students to improve one's communication and interactive skills through sports ,cultural events and many more.
Campus has a beautiful lush green surrounding and provides various types of courts for sports like badminton, tennis, basketball and many more.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike in particular apart from the professors are strict in academics and give lot of assignments and marking is quite strict
Academics is not that tough but quite hectic

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario in our college is decent and can say upto the mark with an average package of 9 LPA and median package of 10 LPA . Placement session starts from fourth year and companies starts coming at the end of third year. The overall percentage placement of college is 60% . The students who are not placed ,college gives them an extra chance to apply next year. The highest package is from CSE dept. of around 50 LPA and average package of CSE is 16 LPA. Few students opt for higher studies like MTech, MBA,MS.

VNIT campus is almost ragging free no student take ragging of juniors
Class are maintain properly in all combine department building

Dislikes

Less option for course selection in department
Strictness is more it feels more strict than school

Placement Experience:

4 th for placement and 3rd year for intership you can prepare for internship in 3rd year Around 40 to 50 companies visited many offers were made around 60 percent student are placed After getting degree if I get placed I will go for that option

Green and Eco-friendly campus making it a joyful environment for all students.
Study material available in college library. Other than academics we have many other books related to competitive exams,novels,etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is well diversed and well explained. Different professors use different teaching methods be it our traditional chalk and duster system or modern techniques like ppt.Anyways ppts are more effectie for students because once the topic is completed it can be shared.

Large campus spread in 250 Acres. Excellent Campus life
Best sports facilities are available including swimming pool

Dislikes

Lot of academic pressure and busy schedule.
Events are not well organised, lack of cultural activities.

Placement Experience:

Nearly 80-90% students grt placed with average package of 9-10 LPA. Students are eligible for placements post 6th semester. Students are eligible for internships post 4th sem which further can be converted to a PPO
