Fees hike is not that much. Scholarships are provided by various alumni. An internship for 3 months is provided. Also, the placement is really good here. The cost to study is not much compared to other iits and nits. The fee is also not so much, it is just 59000 per annum which is really okay as compare to other private colleges.
As a current student at ICT, Mumbai, the fee structure is affordable for a government college, with my fees being around 80,000 rupees per year as a general category student. I am currently availing the Maha government scholarship and the merit-cum-means scholarship, but I am not aware of any on-campus jobs with stipends. There are several scholarship opportunities available, including state and central government scholarships and private scholarships like the Asian Paints scholarship. The fee hike policy is nominal, and overall, the cost to study is reasonable.
I don't know much about the fees structure, but it's not much high as compared to Private colleges. There are Government scholarships , many other scholarships programs all you will know all about it when you take admission. Also ICT provides loan for students, also they gave scholarships based on Merits .
Good faculties and their teaching, have nice experience in industries. Also the curriculum is well defined and up to date with the present scenario. Timely continuous assessment and exams. Question papers of application type.
Course syllabus covers almost everything, right from 1st year in Sem 2 we have an engineering subject,It is not same like other colleges like in 1st year 1st SEM we have PCM as subjects and lab,but some subjects which were to be done in 1st year were, there in 2nd year.Syllabus keeps changing after 6 years, currently the syllabus was updated in 2015.Almost all faculties have done PHD and the way and level of teaching is very good.
I think our course syllabus is up to date because we see our professors talking about recent innovation in the field, Industrial visits are provided and funded as well, one of my favourite faculty is Dr. Sunil bhagwat, he taught us thermodynamics 1 and 2.
There was 'Earn and Learn' scheme provided by my university in which students from under previleged sections would get a chance to fund their education. This is a huge boost for them and I was happy as many of my friends enjoyed this need based scholarship.
Every GATE qualified student pursuing this course gets monthly stipend of Rs. 12,400/- per month. For availing this student has to provide valid GATE score card, bank details and government ID.
There are many scholarship which are provided by the college ather than Maharashtra government scholarship. But there is no loan facility available for the students. There are scholarship such as scholarship provide by Asian paints which is approximately fortqy four thousand.
The students belonging to any caste have easy access to scholarship while it might be difficult for the students of general category to obtain one. Some of them include MAHADBT. But again it was applicable only for the students belonging to the reserved category. But getting education loan is not that difficult.
