For chemical engineering placements are great HPCL n BPCL also recruit some students. 96 placement percentage. same goes for polymer. pharma n food have also good placement. but for fibres textile, oils(it is edible oil) and dye stuff placement are not good.

ICT Mumbai has been ranked 7th among all the Indian universities by The World University Rankings 2020. In The World University Rankings 2020, the institute has been ranked at the band of 401-500 for the Engineering and Technology category.

Opportunities:

Under the guidance of hard-working, talented, and highly experienced scientists and scholars, the department of dyestuff technology has trained over 1200 undergraduates and more than 550 postgraduates.
Moreover, the department has become a unique center of learning that offers an advanced curriculum that goes hand in hand with the latest academic and industrial developments. Furthermore, the department also organizes guest lectures, conferences, and seminars to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
Additionally, the B.Tech course in dyestuff technology focuses attention on the process chemistry, technology, and engineering of organic intermediates and colorants.

All these factors create huge opportunities for students who want to pursue higher education in dyestuff technology.

Placement:

The institute has a well-organized placement cell that manages work ranging from the collection of the student’s CV, organizing them as per the company’s requirements, preparation of placement brochure, coordinating the interview schedules, etc.
