The course curriculum will be decided at the start of semester and there will be release of academic calender each semester and those dates are follwed entire semester. There will be sufficient time for mid exams and final exams and one can prepare in peace. The courses in the beginning were useful at the end and courses giving at the end are not useful at all. My suggestion is to include courses which are useful for placements and giving less interest for irrelevant courses.

The general difference between the iiit curriculum and iit curriculum is that in iiit we will have core subjects related to information technology from the first year itself. A specialized stream of electives will be offered in areas such as 1.Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning 2.IoT 3.Data Science etc.

The curriculum is brand new and has been adopted starting this year. It has been planned according to the NEP 2020.It is very relevant to the current scenario and introduces us to different domains early on.The exams also don't happen very frequently.

I would rate the CSE course curriculum as 7/10 as the ere are many subjects that are not relevant to the course ,but they are taught. As a CSE student , I do not like to study electrical fundamentals . It should be more related to tech and coding .

course are more relevant then any other course because it focuses on it sector course instead of chemistry, physics and all that which matters least for a programmer. It provides exposure to hardware through course like hws.

I have chosen this course cause I'm into computer stuff. Every faculty has completed their PhD in any IIT or NIT. Some explain on board while others explain through PowerPoint slides. It's pretty easy to pass with full attendance.

Some Foundation Courses here help build a strong base for technical studies. Core IT courses such as programming, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, database management and software engineering are also taught here. Electives: depending on our interest and specialisation, we have to have the option to choose elective courses in areas like artificial intelligence, cyber security, machine learning or web development.

I have chosen this course because of the package. In this college, this curriculum is so chill you can get good marks with less effort. Even we have enough time to enrich our tech skills to achieve a great package. The faculties are Ph.D. holders from IITs but they don't teach anything. Exams occur 2 times in one semester. Exams are very easy to pass, you can get good marks by studying less
You can refer our college website for fees structure and other types of scholarship or financial assistance. You. an refer this link-https://www.iiitm.ac.in/ to get more information. All of the details can be found on this website
The course curriculum is like a professional. And facilities are supportive and well qualified.
CS and EC are very different branches. You need to decide which branch interests you more.
EC is about electronics and how the different electrical components communicate with one another. It involves a lot of Physics. It only involves a little programming. CS, on the other hand, is all about programming. It mainly uses logic and math.
If you are interested in programming, CSAI from IIIT Lucknow is the better choice. AI/ML is in huge demand in the industry as most things will be automated in the future. Placements and coding culture are top-notch at all these colleges. Students from IIIT Lucknow and IIIT Bangalore perform well in competitions like ACM ICPC.
All these colleges are good. You should make your choice based on your field of interest.
To get admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Gwalior, you need to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for admission to various engineering programs in India.
The cutoff marks for IIITM Gwalior's CSE program vary from year to year and depend on several factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available in the program.
However, in general, to have a good chance of getting admission to the CSE program at IIITM Gwalior, you should aim to score at least 200-220 marks or above in the JEE Main. This is just an estimate, and the actual cutoff may vary depending on the above-mentioned factors.
It is important to note that admission to IIITM Gwalior's CSE program is highly competitive, and you need to perform well in both the JEE Main as well as in the counseling process to secure a seat in the program.
Let us go with a side by side comparison of both the colleges on the basis of the following factors: NIRF Ranking, Faculty and Placements.
NIRF Ranking: As per NIRF 2020, NIT Durgapur has been ranked 47th whereas IIITM Gwalior has been given a rank above 100.
Faculty:Having friends in both of the colleges I can share their views, and according to their personal experience the faculty at IIITM Gwalior is one of the best faculties out there in India. Also, you will get good research facilities in IIITM Gwalior.
Placements: As many of you might find this a major point while choosing colleges, you should know that NIT Durgapur offers placements for CSE branch with an average package of 6.5 lac pa and 29 lac pa being the highest package. On the other hand, there is not much data available on placements at IIITM Gwalior as CSE is a newly introduced branch.

At the end of the day, if placements are your topmost priority then NIT Durgapur is the best choice. But if you are more inclined towards research work you will need a good faculty for that, which you’ll get at IIITM Gwalior.
Having friends studying at both the institutions, I can say that both the colleges IIITDM Jabalpur and IIITM Gwalior are good. It will be a difficult choice to select one among them.
Both the colleges have a good reputation and provide their students with good Infrastructure, faculties, culture, and placements. Here’s discussing some facts about them which might guide you.

I would suggest you do your side of the research too and ask other alumni for a better perspective because ultimately it is your decision.
A close friend of mine is an alumnus of IIITM Gwalior and he was able to give me some information regarding the institute.
The curriculum for CSE at IIITM Gwalior is quite good. CSE students do not have much academic load. The only thing you need to concentrate on is focusing on problem-solving skills(like designing algorithms, etc.) through coding. You should work at least 4-6 hours per day to hone these skills online, especially during the first two years of engineering.
It is not difficult to score an 8.0 CGPA, but you need to put in your honest work. However, targeting 9.0+ CGPA can be a challenge.

You could also go for the 3 years mini-project instead of Opting any other subjects. You would not get these types of opportunities in the 7 IITs.
I have few friends at both IIITM Gwalior and IIITDM Jabalpur. Based on the conversation I had with them, I will say IIITM Gwalior is the better option for CSE.
The faculty at IIITM Gwalior is great. Most of the faculty members have Ph.D. The placement record of IIITM Gwalior is also quite impressive.

IIITM Gwalior ranks better than IIITDM Jabalpur on almost all platforms. It also has a better coding culture. You can check the institute ranking on SPOJ to have a better idea about the coding culture on campus.
Both the institutes are famous. But for the CSE branch, NIT Goa is the better alternative. The reason is placement and recruiters that visit the campus are much better than IIITM. The placement statistics of NIT Goa are below.
Average Package | INR 7.35 LPA |
Highest Package | INR 20 LPA |
Top recruiters | R&D, Samsung, HFCL, etc. |
But if you are looking for an excellent hostel and campus life, NITG is not a choice for you. NITG does not have its campus. The current batches adjust in the campus provided by Goa Engineering College (GEC).
You should surely take the 5-year course because it is quite convenient. You will get really good placements with the 5-year course. Additionally, with the 4-year course being just newly introduced, the placements will take some time to develop. The IPG faculty is very good as compared to the B.Tech faculty who are novices.
Moreover, you will also save an entire year. If you are interested in coding, you will get an extra year to hone your skills and improve them which would eventually lead to better placements. So between the two, choose the five-year course.
