• The students are from different parts of our country which is very helpful to get you exposer of different people.
• The course is designed in such a way that a student with zero knowledge about computer can also study

Dislikes

• Hostel food is worst and outside also there is not much restaurants where you can eat
• The hostel rooms are also not very good, There are 4 people in one room which makes it little bit conjusted

Campus Life:

In campus there is nothing else other than college and hostel building. There is a sports complex but there is nothing in it other than a basket ball court and plain field. There is not much sports activity in college. In short for fun activities there is nothing, You just have to go to class and then come to hostel. Nearby areas from college are village area so don't expect anything.

• Our faculties are much friendly as we feel like they are our family member.
• No partially between students from the teaching and non teaching staffs.

Dislikes

• The campus is not much gender friendly as the lack in the equality.

Campus Life:

There are so many festivals like for both technical and non technical are conducted in our campus every year. The main fest is named Vidyut which has several workshops and proshows . In this festival several students across the world is participating. Moreover there are some small festivals and celebrations like diwali holi onam etc are also there and there is arts and sports fest also..

Campus Life is the best part of this college. There are many programs and cultural activities in this college. There's a national fest called Vidyut. it is the best. And due to students from different states and countries, their culture is also celebrated. There are football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton, tennis clubs

• we have a set of advisors who are very helpful in anything we need they're almost like our 2nd parents.
• The teaching faculty is very professional.

Dislikes

• Main thing i disliked about the hostel was the food.
• The food never really had any flavor, whenever we had anything it'd be very soggy and watery, the sambhar and chutney used to be very watery.

The campus life is pretty fine the infrastructure and the lab facilities are pretty good, the amount of clubs are very few, people take initiative to start clubs but they fail to do the next step, the books for various courses are provided in the library.

Basic Idea of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.

• Few clubs are just brilliant. Clubs like amFOSS and BIOS are the top notch in their respective fields in the entire nation. amFOSS for open source and BIOS for cybersecurity. Hence plenty of guidance is provided by peers and friends in these clubs.
• The syllabus is pretty easy. Though it's lengthy it's doable and mostly students get through really well. Assignments are reasonable and hence plenty of time for self-development and building connections, working on projects and just growing.

Dislikes

• The mess food is not up to the mark. No special food even on events like Diwali, Holi, Ram Navami. It's the same dal rice, sambhar, idli every day. Never any fruits except a banana a week.
• The libraries aren't 24/7 which is a really disappointing fact. And they don't have A/C too. Just fans, and limited time, doesn't make up for a really good environment for studying when you find disturbance everywhere else.

Campus Life:

1) club life is good, their is plenty of competitions, club members only hackathons, mentorship by top professionals and seniors. 2) social life is okay for out-going people. as regular events are held like the several festivals of kerala, andhra pradesh, telangana, tamil-nadu. So the college is always having some event with dance, music plenty of people and fun. 3) making connections is easy as the faculty are calm and are supportive. 4) sports are also provided, and the teams regularly excel in their respective inter college meets. Sports like badminton, cricket, football, basketball, body-building, karate and many others are supported and took up for competitions. 5) few student run groups are of internaional and national levels that work for social causes and reach out to nearby rural areas via regular field trips and help develop these areas.

• The vibe of the College is very good, the location is very scenic with the backwaters and the ocean, the college is an open campus which lets us around with freedom rather than a compounded one. The vast number of Research labs and clubs is very good
• The Club culture in the college is very good, we have 2 of the famous clubs 'Foss' and 'Bios' and there are various other clubs where once you get into we will get projects and mentorship on domains we are interested in like app dev, web dev etc.

• The Campus is not too big, the location of it being in a town/village makes it difficult if we want something and we have to travel some good distance for nearby cities, Infrastructure can be better for some classrooms, and buildings.
• The hostel is decent along with the mess, but can be way better, the mess food is ok but not exceptional, the night dinner mess is not that good. There is no Canteen after curfew at 8:45, which makes it difficult sometimes at night.

Campus Life:

We have one main annual technical festival called the 'VIDYUT' it is held for 3 days mostly in the month of may or june, or sometimes depending on situation. We will have many workshops, competitions, robo fights and many more events followed by a proshow by any famous singer/dancer in the evening. The classrooms each have a projector and a big whiteboard, and the benches are fixed with charging ports. The sports activities are not much in this college, there are college teams but not very active , it is not given much importance, other than that we have many student run technical and non technical clubs, Mainly 'FOSS' and 'BIOS' which guide the student members a lot in their projects
