- For admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, the application forms can be filled through online/ offline mode.

- For the M.Tech program, the candidates must have obtained 60% marks in B.E or B.Tech and selection is done on the basis of GATE score.
- For M.Phil and Ph.D., the candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subjects.
- Selection of the candidates for M. Phil is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university while Ph.D. admission is based on GATE/ UGC NET or CSIR-NET scores.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri UG Admission 2024: B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA and BAMS
At the undergraduate level, the Amritapuri campus offers B.Tech course in multiple specializations along with other UG programs such as B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, and BAMS. The basic eligiblity criterion for admission to UG course is the candidate should possess at least 60% marks in 10+2 examination with relevant subjects. In case of B.Tech, candidate should have scored 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks in each of these three subjects.
Admission to B.Tech program is done only on the basis of Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) conducted every year by the university. The examination is conducted in two modes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P).
Selection of the candidates to rest of the UG programs is done on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination conducted by the respective department of the university.

The University also offers two integrated progra?ms under different specializations. The basic criterion for admission to the integrated courses is candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in relevant subjects. Final selection of the candidates is based on the entrance exams conducted by Amrita followed by counselling and interview.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri PG Admission 2024: M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, MD and MS
Along with UG programs, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus offers various PG programs including M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc in several specializations. The basic criterion to apply for these courses is the candidate should have secured a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects with 60% marks from any recognized university.
Selection of the candidates to MBA program is done on the basis of CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT scores. In case of M.Tech, GATE scores are considered for admission and Non-GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in interview. Admission to rest of the Master’s degree courses are based on the entrance exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, followed by counselling and interview session.

Registration for MBA program is open and the interested candidates can apply through the official website. The last date for submitting MBA application form is January 31.
- M.D. program has an intake of 4 candidates per course.
- Candidates applying for MD must have completed their compulsory one-year rotatory internship as on or before July 31 of the academic year.
- Candidates applying under SC/ ST categories are granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the score of the qualifying examination.

The university offers Ph.D. program in 9 specializations. Admission to Ph.D is offered to the candidates who have passed postgraduate degree in First Class with Distinction with CGPA above 6.5 from any recognized university. Selection of the candidates to Ph.D. is done on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the University or GATE/ UGC NET/CSIR NET, followed by an interview.

In addition to full-time, the programs are available on the Part-Time basis as well. However, the candidates applying for Part-Time mode must have a work experience along with a ‘No-Objection’ certificate from their current employer.
- Candidates with M.Phil degree in relevant subjects are exempted from the written test but have to take part in counselling and interview.
- The candidates who have qualified GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR NET or JRF or Research fellowship are eligible for direct admission in the Ph.D. program.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Application Process 2024
Candidates seeking admission to courses offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus must register themselves online through the official website. In addition to it, the candidates seeking admission in MBA and Ph.D. programs must enroll themselves for CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT and GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET respectively.
MBA Application Process:
Candidates need to log on to the official college website in order to fill the application form. The last date for submitting completed application form is January 31. Candidates must ensure that the following are ready before filling the application form:
- A soft copy of recent passport size color photograph (JPG format, size 150x200)
- Applicant who appeared or going to appear for the entrance test (CAT / MAT / XAT / GRE / GMAT / CMAT) with their registration numbers
- Application fee of INR 1000 which can be submitted either online (using net banking, debit/credit card) or by DD.
- In case of offline fee submission, DD drawn in favour of the campus of your first choice.
Upon filling the form, the candidates will be required to choose the mode of payment i.e. Online (Net Banking/ debit/credit card) or Offline (through demand draft for INR 1000 in the name of “Amrita School of Business,” payable at “Coimbatore” to complete the application process. The application fee is non-refundable.
Candidates must mention the reference number, name and mobile number on the back side of the DD. Duly filled-in application form along with the Demand Draft should be sent to the below mentioned address:

For Online Mode:
- Visit the official website of the university.
- Fill in your personal details
- Upload Photo and Signature
- Submit the required fees
For Offline Mode:
- Printed OMR application forms can be obtained in person upon submitting the application fee of INR 1000 from the list of sale outlets (Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank) or counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore
- Application fee should be submitted through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Engineering”, payable at Coimbatore.
- The application forms can also be obtained by post from the Admissions Coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore with a written request giving complete communication address, phone number and Email ID along with a Demand Draft as mentioned above.
- Candidate should mention “B.Tech. Application,” his / her "Name" and "Mobile Number" on the back of the Demand Draft.
