Placements are not as strong if compared to TISS. A few good organizations also come like reliance foundation, pradan and azim premji foundation and FES. Around 90% people get placed every year. My plan after this course is Phd.

In the last semester, students become ready for campus placements. Companies like Reliance Foundation, Adani Foundation, and Azim Premji Foundation came as recruiters in placements. They made offers of around 80%. The highest Package is around 40,000 per month and the average package is around 30,000 per month for the post of program manager and teacher, and curriculum developer. Most of us planning to go for post-graduations.
University does have a Placement Cell that actively engages in activities to promote student placement. Over the last couple of years, more than 200 students have been placed in over 300 organizations in the social sector.
The training programs and placement are expanding in the course of recent years. In excess of more than 1500 candidates are put in different rumored associations with a challenging bundle. More than 300 associations have taken an interest in the grounds arrangement a year ago. An average placement of word to our students is rupees 2.85 lacs. Nearly 60% of the graduates works in the field of social work in grassroot level.

Internship is provided by the university it self. However the biggest problem is the restriction on options. Students are forced to take internship from list suggested by the college. No student is allowed to go for internship even if they found something at UN or some research work in Universities
Our college's placements are excellent. We began our academic programme this year, and we are hoping for placements with teaching profiles. We have the Azim Premji Foundation here, which can provide us with good placement opportunities. Because this university believes that education has the power to transform societies, it is an excellent place to get involved in social service activities.
The placement committee comprises students, faculty and other members who decide on all key aspects of the placement process. These aspects include deciding on the placement calendar and setting the norms for placementsIdentifying job opportunities. Conducting practitioner lectures, seminars and workshopsOrganising training on soft skills, interview skills, resume building, etc. Facilitating smooth operations during pre-placement talks, interviews coordination and final offer processes. These range from large organisations to start-ups, including research institutions, policy bodies, CSRs, quasi-government institutions, schools, etc.
Due to the continuous efforts of the training and placement cells, my seniors got placed in reputed companies. More than 1500 students got placed in 300 companies and organisations. The average annual placement package so offered to our students is nearly rupees 2.85 lacs.

Approximately 90 public and private organizations combined participate in the recruiting process each session and almost 85% students are placed with an average pay scale of 3-4LPA. NGOs and government corporations are the major recruiters offering roles in academia, policy analysis, program evaluation, research and consulting, government programmes, multilateral agencies, corporate and social responsibility departments of companies, funding organizations and in the media.
Major recruiters for graduates in M.A Education who are adept in teaching, designing materials, management and policy reforming are - Eklavya Education Foundation, Pratham, Young India Foundation, Dakshin Foundation.
For graduates in M.A policy and governance, who possess excellent analytical skills and ability to infer and design complex public policies, eloquent governance strategies, top companies offering roles are: Tata Trusts, IPAC, Deloitte Social Impact, Adani Foundation.
Major organizations hiring graduates in M.A development who are skilled with innovative thinking and implementing ground breaking ideas to socio-cultural problems, are - Srijan, Pravah, InOpen Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Inventure Academy.
Economics undergraduates at Azim Premji University are engaged in roles like Accounting, Audit, Management, Education, and Research, for which the minimum salary offered is ? 25000-30000 whereas the median salary offered is 3.6 lakhs per annum. The maximum salary received by the student is 4.85 lakhs per annum. More than 300 organization visits the campus for placements which are of various sizes starting from a small NGO space to research institutions, quasi-government institutions, school, etc. Around 90% of the students are actively working in social sectors which provide various exciting opportunities that contribute to the betterment of the country and which requires various specific competencies. The placement cell actively takes care of the whole recruitment process and where the student is free to choose from various options available to them.
Overall, the undergraduates receive a good salary after completing their studies and are often hired by reputed organizations. SBI Fellowship, The Bridge Schools, India School Leadership Institute, Cipla Foundation, Teach For India are few companies that visit the University frequently for economics undergraduates.
