Azim Premji University Launched PG Diploma in Educational Assessment; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Azim Premji University has launched a new Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Assessment. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge, skills and dispositions that are necessary for planning, designing, and utilising assessments in order to bring about a positive shift in the culture of assessments.

The one-year PG Diploma Program by Azim Premji University will be of a total of 24 credits and will consist of 4 certificate programs. ‘Only those candidates who complete all 4 certificate programmes will be awarded the degree. Each certificate programme will be offered in a blended mode with webinars and on-campus contact classes’ stated the official release. 

Azim Premji University admission to PG Diploma Program will consist of two steps:

• online application form with a statement of purpose 
• panel interview in online mode.

Eligibility Criteria For PG Diploma in Educational Management

The programme is designed for professionals working in the area of education for at least 2 years.

• Teachers, academic coordinators, and head teachers.
• Teacher educators.
• Curriculum designers, test paper developers, and textbook writers.

It must be noted that applicants should have an undergraduate degree in any discipline with a working knowledge of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Fees For PG Diploma in Educational Management

Fees for the PG Diploma programme — INR 90,000 (incl. GST)
The PG Diploma programme (24 credits) includes mandatory completion of all four Certificates (Certificates 1,2,3 and 4).

Fees for the Certificate programmes — INR 27,000 (incl. GST) per certificate

The fees for both PG Diploma and Certificate programmes include only tuition fees. The estimated amount for on-campus accommodation and food during contact classes would be roughly INR 725 per day. This will have to be borne by the participant along with travel expenses.
