- Visit the official website of the University to apply for GAT.
- Fill the online application form carefully.
- Upload the recent passport sized coloured photograph of dimensions 4cm X 4cm.
- Submit the application form by paying INR 800/- either via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net-banking
GIS Selection Criteria
- The candidates applying for B.Sc and B.Sc (Hons.) will be selected on the basis of the GAT UG exam.
- The candidates applying for M.Sc will be selected on the basis of the GAT PG exam.
- For BCA, the candidates will be selected on merit basis.

GITAM School of Science Scholarships
The institute offers the following scholarships to deserving and meritorious students:
- Admissions through scholarships will be offered on a ‘first come first served’ basis and is limited upto 25% of the approved course intake. Once this is filled, candidates are not qualified for the scholarship.
- If a student is eligible for scholarship under more than one category through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests, then he/she will be awarded with the highest percent of the scholarships.
- The children of GITAM employees are eligible to avail only 25% of merit scholarship through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests.
- The scholarship offered through GAT, National and State Entrance Tests is applicable for first year only. The same scholarship will be continued in the subsequent years of study scoring gpa of 8.0 and more.

GITAM School of Science Facilities
- Library: The college has a huge library resource for the students and faculty members. The library is known as the Knowledge Research Centre. The library has more than 3.5 lakh resources available.
- Auditorium: The college has around 10 auditoriums which are well equipped with air-conditioners, light and video projectors, speakers and is very well maintained and spacious. The auditorium can accommodate more than 10,000 students. All the seminars, workshops etc are conducted in the auditorium.
- Hostels: The hostels of the college are very well maintained and are on the basis of twin sharing. They are well maintained and equipped with all basic amenities. There are air conditioned as well as non-air conditioned rooms. The college provides accommodation for more than 10,000 students.
- Food Courts and Canteen: The college has around 6 food courts and one big canteen for the students. The students can sit there with their group and relax. Snacks and food items are available at a standardized rate and hygienic measures at all times are kept in mind.
- Sports: The college encourages the students to participate in extracurricular activities. The college has a cricket stadium for the students, a hobby centre for them to play indoor games and a health and wellness centre to do yoga and other forms of exercises.

Ans. GAT is an online exam conducted for a duration of 2 years. Candidates can appear for the exam through mobile phones, tablets or computers. There are a total number of 100 questions and there are multiple choice questions.
Ques. Is there any scholarship provided for performing well at GAT by GIS Visakhapatnam?
Ans. Yes, there are scholarships provided to the students for performing well in the National and State entrance exams and GAT. The percentage of scholarship according to the marks scored by the students is as follows:

- The campus is occurred by greenery and hostel facilities are good including mess food, but i bit costly for 3 room sharing. The campus is more spaced and we celebrated each and every festivals, event's.
Dislikes
- Our college didn't provide internships for bsc students, classrooms are not well maintained.
Admission:
You can find the application form in the website of gitam. But direct admissions are mostly happening in our college. Eligibility for bsc and btech is intermediate with 50% and for msc you need to score 60% in graduation.

- Environment and infrastructure was too good
- Most of the faculties are from the field research who made some marvellous discoveries and projects

- The class timings are major problem for the students
- This year most of the students left unplaced

Eligibility for bsc is intermediate. And there will be an entrance exam but direct admissions are more common in gitam. If you want fee concession then you can write the ent exam which is GAT and application is available in the website.

- It provides a very experienced faculty with a vast depth of knowledge. The teaching methods are somewhat new to myself.
- Open free atmosphere to interact with seniors and staff about our doubts in academics. Can explore more articles related to our scientific research from college e-library and coursera sites etc.
Dislikes
- We get the hectic schedule throughout the entire first year. It reduces our time to explore many things according to our interests.
- Attendance is mandatory is a rule and by this rule our college treatment is more like a school life.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course : Any life sciences degree with a 3 year completed course from a well renowned college or university. We can find the application form from GITAM E-site, and the admission fee is 1000 to 1100/- cost. The application dates are open up to July. As I am a general category student, I am not aware of those reservation benefits. If EWS certificate is provided as per that joining year, it may avails some reservation. Entrance examination is offline and online mode, and we can select our timings if we opts online mode. Time duration of the examination is 2 hours and level of examination is easy to moderate level.

First student need to write the gat exam. Then based on the results and the chosen branch the availability of seats is provided to students. Generally there is high competition for CSE branch. And many of them also go to ece.

I may say no Con's about the college. But the pro's are many like the LIBRARY we call it KRC is huge about 3 floors having a million of books is quite nice and the gardens are totally well maintained I may say if you visit the campus you may feel as if you are in a hill site full of trees and Greenery's the management is taking care of the garden a lot and is well maintained.

It's very good and excellent with them academics and faculty with well knowledge and we'll equipped with advanced technology and trips and tours and practicals and live examples with the future process etc. projects and cuirculam is very excellent for the learning and knowledge.
