Remarks :
The admission process proceeds in two steps. Early admission happens before the end of an academic year and the other one happens by the end of the same. We have a test initially, which assesses the basic language and numerical skills along with an aptitude test about the major we apply for. Once shortlisted, an interview s also expected.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are highly qualified and so amiable for the students to interaction with. The curriculum is also interesting. Irrespective of one's major, each student is expected to do certain common courses in the first year which I think is worth doing. That helps students to acquire a perspective about general society and writing.
Internships Opportunities :
There is an internship that the campus itself offers to students and there are emails sent out to every student regarding the availability of several internships. Students can choose to do what they want to.
Placement Experience :
University does have a Placement Cell that actively engages in activities to promote student placement. Over the last couple of years, more than 200 students have been placed in over 300 organizations in the social sector.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
APU indeed has a subsidized fee structure. The fee structure is completely dependent on one's financial status and scholarship is allotted accordingly. One can get either a 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% scholarship according to one's family income.
Campus Life :
The campus has students from all across India. So there's an absolute diversity in the composition of students which I think is one of the very fascinating facts about APU. students have absolute authority to organize any events on campus with the consent of the higher authority. There are a plethora of club functions on campus (economics, gender discussion forum, film club, history, and so on). Classes are not that intensive and packed while there can be pressure on assignments as we follow a system of continuous evaluation.
Hostel Facilities :
University follows a complete residential system and we have two external and internal residences to accommodate our students. We also have a facility and infrastructure management team to address issues.
