About Azim Premji University
Azim Premji University, Bangalore, was founded in 2010 and has been approved by UGC. It is a private University established as a Non-Profit Institution under UGC. It offers various UG and PG courses to the student like BA, B.Sc., B.Ed., LLM, and MA. All the admission processes pertaining to the courses offered by the University are done based on the candidate’s ranking/score secured in the entrance conducted at the University Level. The students seeking admission at the university are supposed to appear in entrance tests. Based on the entrance tests, students are shortlisted for personal interviews and then the final selection is made depending upon the chosen course. Students need to apply online through the official website of the University.

First round was written exam. It was quite easy. Essay writing was important. Second round was personal interview. The panelists made me very comfortable and the questions asked were also realted to the previous answers. You should hahe clarity on why are you opting for a particular course.

Admission:
For applying to B.Sc. B.Ed. mathematics, applicants have to give the Azim Premji University entrance exam which happens two times for a batch. One is the early round, for this round applications start in October, the exam in December, and the Interview in January. Another is the regular round, for this round applications start in January, the exam in April, and the Interview in May. The application fee is 500 rupees. For more details, you can visit the Azim Premji university website. Only state reservation is allowed for Karnataka students which is 25%. The entrance exam is designed in such a way that it gives opportunity to students of all backgrounds because it asks only basic maths, RCs, and descriptive questions.

The admission process proceeds in two steps. Early admission happens before the end of an academic year and the other one happens by the end of the same. We have a test initially, which assesses the basic language and numerical skills along with an aptitude test about the major we apply for. Once shortlisted, an interview s also expected.

There are students from all over India, and there are also many from this state. There is a strict no-ragging policy in place, which gives newcomers peace of mind. There is an entire department that monitors the student's well-being.other than the faculty is amazing and ratio was balanced too.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I got opportunities for research, publish in student journals and participate in a variety of University initiatives. Weekly colloquium lectures are conducted by scholars, practitioners and researchers from across the world. This provides a varied exposure and opportunity to learn from people outside the University. The University also hosts a series of regular international conferences and workshops in collaboration with other institutes. The faculty acts as facilitators of learning and hence have significant autonomy in structuring the courses, teaching methods and experiences.

My Course curriculum is always up to date and perfectly scheduled. If a topic needs to be covered with in the next two dyas so it will be covered in next two days no matter whatever the situation or condition is. My course is always completed in time. As a students I never worried about that.

The course syllabus was most up to date. In fact, our batch was given a revised version of the syllabus so that it fits the contemporary context. Exposure through group assignments and seminars is also provided as part of the course. Arjun Jayadev, who is professor as well as head of the department for economics taught us in the first year, and has worked with Economics Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz.

Course curriculum is up to date and perfectly scheduled. If a topic needs to be covered in 5 hours so it will be covered in 5 hours no matter whatever the situation is. It will be completed in time. Students need not to worry about that.

Yes, Azim Premji University admissions are open. However, the admissions are open only for PG Diploma courses. The UG and PG admissions are not yet open. The last date has also not been released. The application form can be filled on the official website of the university.
