History is the study of past events and occurrences which have helped in shaping up a civilization. The duration for BA in history is 3 years. The whole program is divided in three years with two semesters in each year in most of the colleges. Some colleges follow annual system of assessment. BA (History): Eligibility
(10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He/She should have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate with English as a subject. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.
BA (History): Admission
The Admission Process to Bachelor of Arts in History course begins after the declaration of the results for Intermediate or 10+2 examination. Students have to fill application forms for respective universities. Once the application process is over, universities release cut off marks or percentage for admission to BA History program. BA (History): Syllabus and Course Description
The program is divided into three years and in each year a student has to learn different aspects of national and world history. The program is designed in such a way that the study of history moves from general to specific encompassing all phases of Indian and World history.
Apart from the compulsory History courses, students also have to study a minimum of two Concurrent courses. The concurrent courses vary from a range of Language papers to subjects from humanities.
The Scheme of Assessment is generally based on class-participation and performance in an examination held at the end of an academic year or semester. Some colleges also require students to submit a project report/thesis on the topic of their interest related to Indian or World history.

There are my types of course like 1:- B.A 2:-B.COM 3:-BSC 4:-MA 5:-BBA 6:-BCA etc. I like B.A course for starting because the professors are always available for students and study is so good and intresting because of brilliant proffer. The timing of exam is minimum 3 hour and it is enough time for students.

I think some couses need to updated more frequentlyto keep pace with rapidly changing industry demands . The course are in HPU are designed as skill based and as the world needs. The exams are of two types one is mid and other is final.

- Auditorium is very small.In any function, there is only limited seats and not even many students fit in that auditorium.

I pursue History as a major subject because I found it very interesting and I love to read about our past and very interested to know about our heritage and all the things we left behind.. I think in this field their should be practically visit on the places from where we got the avidence about our past and a general visit to museum in every month.. Basically the most important difficulty is our exam timings we can't complete the whole exam in 3 hours and that is the worst part when we know everything about asked question but don't have time to write that.

All teachers are actually very experienced and well-qualified. The classes if of around 1 hr. The class size is around 100 to 110. They usually teach us by the lecture method and help in make notes. Exams are conducted after the completion of particular units.

Fee structure was a kind of Feasible. It was not very expensive so far. Payment were received thourough bank. No extra fee were charged by college administration to secure an admission to our course. Yes, college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.
