Likes
- I like the location of the college. A good place to study
- when I talk about social interaction, everyone is so corporative.
Dislikes
- I didn’t like the infrastructure of our college
- Students their are so into addiction and that should be stopped
Placement Experience:
Companies do come to our college for placements. And students become eligible for campus placement after 7 semester . And after completing their degree they are placed to companies . 40% students get placement every year .
Likes
- Faculty is all doctorates and highly educated from government seats
- No issues are created regarding holidays all government holidays are given to you
Dislikes
- Space is quite less. Campus space is less for engineering branch
Placement Experience:
Placements are little weak, honestly, but computer science and IT departments. Get really good placements. Even in campus and off campus are records have gone up to 30,00,00 of campuses are way easier than on campus, but companies do come to this university.
Likes
- Teachers are cooperative and guide you during the journey
- High-tech lab of commerce department only
Dislikes
- Class rooms are not cleaned and sanitized properly
- Cleark and other adminstration department are not much cooperative
Placement Experience:
During 3rd year we can apply for placement some companies come for campus recruitment in college once a year Skechers mandi for sales man or girl Highest package is 5 lakh p.a I think and minimum 2 lakhs p.a 4% M.B.A

- Teachers or lr are very supportive and helpful.
- Infrastructure of the college is als very good.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to dislike in our college.
Placement Experience:
Our college don't provide 100% placements but but at end of the final year many companies come to college and many students get jobs.I don't remember the names of the companies but average salary package was around 25 k per month.
Likes
- I liked that the teachers behaviour i d appreciatable
- The college campus is great and have a good architecture
Dislikes
- I don't liked the behaviour of faculties.
- There is no facility of the hostel in our college
Placement Experience:
In our college students eligible for campus placement in 3rd year and i don,t know the compines visit in our collage highest package received i think 8 lac lpa and 70% of students placed every yead abd my plan is is doing masters after degree
Likes
- Campus Life is really NYC as we are in an open environment to study.
- We have technical groups and various fest organised in the college
Dislikes
- Campus is small and even building is not that large.
- As compared to fees utilities are really limited
Placement Experience:
After completing 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements but most of the students completes their internship before or in 7th sem. Last year companies like L&T, Dell, Patriot systems and infotech etc. came to recruit.
Likes
- Faculty of the college is very helpful . All the faculty members are very well qualified and always looking forward to help students in any possible way
- Teaching techniques of the teachers of college is very good. A very unique and understanding method for teaching is common between all the professors.
Dislikes
- Since there's no hostel provided for college students, students always depend upon PG's or Rented rooms around the college campus
- Institute is a part of HIMACHAL PRADESH UNIVERSITY but due to separated campus from University, there are several facilities provided by University to university students but college students are unable to avail all the facilities
Placement Experience:
Usually in 4th year several companies approach the college for hiring the students. There's a good placement rate every year for the college. Average salary package of the college last year went upto 6.5LPA .Further students are hired accordingly to their performance in the interview.
Likes
- The college has a very interesting approach towards learning. The management is very helpful when needed.
- There are many sports available in the campus like kabaddi, badminton, basketball and some indoor games like chess, carrom and table tennis
Dislikes
- The campus is small so there is not much to roam and there not many fests or functions held in college. The campus is not very large.
- Library is not that big and there are limited books in the library.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester the students become eligible for the campus placements. There are many companies that come to the campus for the placements. You have to give your resume and there might be a interview for the job. After getting the degree I will prepare for the CAT.

- As per BBA student i appreciate the faculty of BBA
- The faculty's dedication to academic excellence is evident in their teaching methodologies.

- Nothing
Placement Experience:
The students who are good enough also get the placement as there are many small cap and medium cap enterprise who visits for campus placement. According to previous year ther are total 32 placement from 3rd year of BBA and 42 placement from BCA. The highest package is about 12 LPA and the average package is about 5 LPA.
Likes
- Teaching teams are good in this college.
- Faculty members are good and helpful to everyone.
Dislikes
- There is not much laboratory equipments are available.
- There is not much area to enjoy with friends.
Placement Experience:
The placements of our college is good. But the placements are offering less salary like they only give 10k to 25k per month in starting. The highest package is 4lpa and average is 2-3lpa. Only 10% Students getting placements.

Depending on the previous year placement data, the average salary which you can get in HPU Placements is INR 3.02 lacs per year to INR 3.15 lacs per year. The companies which provided these packages were Wipro, Citrix, Cognizant, TCS, Hewlett Packard, M.Phasis.
HPU Shimla does not conduct placements for its MBBS students. However, the MBBS students are provided with a compulsory internship The internship stipend previously offered was INR 17 thousand per month. But now it has been increased to INR 20 thousand per month.
