St. Bede’s College is certainly one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in this country. Basically now a women’s college, it was set up as a teacher’s training institute by the Religious of Jesus and Mary. One can distinguish this college from the fact that it is the only college in Himachal Pradesh to have received an A accreditation by UGC and NAAC. The college has earned lot of appreciation and accomplishments. It has indeed emerged out as one of the favorite institutions when it comes to pursuing higher education (for girls).Courses offered in the college are Undergraduate programmes in Science and Arts. B.A. Pass course, B.A. Honors’ courses in Economics, English and Geography, B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A and B.Sc. - One of the best thing of the college was that some of the teachers were really nice

- The notices related to sports day and other special events never get circulated properly

Actually at first I wanted to apply for a Law university but my CLAT score wasn't high enough to get me in a nice govt college so instead of dropping a year I applied for commerce and B.A and of course nobody suggested anything to me ,had no idea fine arts was a thing ,So I got selected in 2 colleges from Chandigarh and two from Shimla, but in Chandigarh I applied for B.A and in shimla I apllied for B.com and St.bedes was a well reputed college so I chosed it.

- I like the overall college and the education is the best out there rules and decoram is to be followed properly.
- I like the structure of the college and the overall college was very nice
Dislikes
- Washrooms are not cleaned properly and are smelly kind off
- The cantine food is Okok not that much good

So the admission process is online Firstly you've to wait for the forms to be out in the website of st.bedes which is available in Google or safari. After the forms are out you need to fill the form and wait for the merit list for the different courses. After the merit list is out the student is selected and asked to take all the documents to sister after the admission.

- The faculty. especially the teachers are very helpful and always provide informative notes
- Since the student to teacher ratio is very less so each student is given equal attention and classes are more interactive

- There are not many placements provided to the students especially if you are arts students there isn't any
- The college is confined to certain rules and regulations which one may find controlling
Admission:
For being eligible for this course you must have studied mathematics in your 11th and 12 th class and you should have passed your 12th with 50% or more. The college is only for girls. Application form is available online from the months of May to July . The online portal has made admissions much easier

- The courses offered are quite relevant in todays world like ms exel and digital marketing
- Teachers are keen to understanding the issues of students at any time and are well qualified to solve the problem

- The management can be a little rigid sometimes and implement strict rules
- The maangement should be more considerate towards students needs

The admission process was easy and smooth. The application forms were available online on the site of the college and it was easy to locate the form and application. The exams are conducted timely and the results are shared and discussed on time. I didn't find any problem in the admission process and I was satisfied with it.

- The atmosphere of college was really beautiful
- Teachers were helpful and mentorship was really great, they guided us throughout the graduation period of 3 years. They were very supportive and kind.

There were merit list for few courses but one can get admission easily it's not that hard to get admission. The admission process happens in auditorium hall. There is proper booth for every course and you can interact with teachers there and they guide each and everything. Even they will suggest what course you should opt for.

The admission process is quite easy and convenient. There's no special entrance exam. All you need is 12th without backlogs and a minimum of 60%. The staff is very helpful and cooperative, they will guide you through the whole application process

The course is absolutely interesting and worth doing but my college hasn't provided much to what extent it should. But I have a good faculty at my college. Changes are meant for eveything and everybody and so does my college needs.

Various trips are organized every year by the college so that student can explore things with studies. Overall this is the best college.

Admission to the courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The cut-off list will be published by the college. It mainly offers UG and PG programs.
