My interest in literature took me to this master's course. My graduation professors advised me to go for IPU for its deep focus on research and academic writing. I wanted to understand the literature in depth and ipu is the best solution for that.

I chose this course because I was passionate about literature and I wanted to pursue my career as an editor or a content creator. Literature is a diverse field and it gives a world exposure to cultures and manners. The faculty is really nice and over qualified. They take our issues every time we ask.
I chose this course because I already have an English background and wanted to pursue Masters's in English to make my base stronger. The faculty is very experienced and well versed in their subjects. The number of girls is more than the number of boys in this course. The professors all hold a Ph.D., with many years of experience in teaching. Their teaching methods are great. The class is full of discussions and debates, with critical analyzing of the texts in the syllabus. Exams were all conducted on time and studying regularly is very important, then one can pass easily.
I had a passion for English hence i persued masters in this course. The university focuses on providing quality education and laying emphasis on enhancing the employ ability quotient in the students, making them industry ready and so i believe it is the best place to be at. Because the majority of students doing masters will be opting for academics and the activities etc here, impart such capability that everybody would understand what is expected from them in the future.
This subject always fascinated me. And that's why I went ahead and opted for MA English. English department usually gives admission to 55-60 students every year. In the final year, students could choose subjects according to their interests. For every subject, we had 2 professors. Most of the professors had completed their doctorate degrees. And exams were also taken timely.
I am always interested in English and literature as a subject is quite fascinating to me. For me, English was the perfect subject to do my masters. University provides one additional subject in each semester like seminar papers and theatre to make students participate more and to for their practice for future if they opt for a professional degree. Masters have only 60 or below students in each batch. Most of the teachers have their Doctorate in their specialization. They evaluate students ' class participation, group discussion, internals, and attendance. In each semester there were internal (20) and external exams (75). Exams were quite easy for you if you have done your research and read the novel or drama thoroughly twice or thrice. Class notes are quite helpful in exams.
The course curriculum is really unique and creative. The promising syllabus was the main reason I chose this college. In the second year of the study, students are free to choose their own subjects of interest among the many available options. The faculty here is well qualified. All of them have completed their PhDs. Regular classes take place. They also have many research scholars who assist teachers with teaching postgraduate students. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:8. The teaching methodology involves lectures, presentations, seminars, etc. In each semester, one has to appear for minor exams as well as the end-semester exams. The format is the same across all courses offered by the university. The MA English exams are fairly easy to pass.
Very well made, suited to the current needs, and teachers are well-updated on how to make their students research. Their innovative teaching methods have helped a lot, as students are independently curious to find out more.
