What is the total fee strucure at NIT Raipur for a btech 2017-2021 with a family income less than 1 lakh?

This rule has been in motion since 2016 and applies to students of both the OBC category and General. The rule did not apply to students who were from 2014 and 2015. The fee structure for NIT Raipur and any other IIT according to MHRD are as follows: In case your family income is less than 1,00,000, you will get full remission of tuition fees. IIT tuition fees are around 2 lakhs now and the same for NITs is around 1.25 lakhs. If your family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs, then you will have to pay a third of the fee of the IITs and NITs. Full tuition fees have to be paid in case the salary of the family is more than 5 lakhs. NITs have their own mess fees, hostel, and extra fees. They will amount roughly to 65,000 to 75,000 rupees. Bank loans also help in gaining admission to the aforementioned colleges.

NIT Raipur BTech 2024: Cutoff, Fees, Placement, Admission

NIT Raipur BTech Admission 2024 is expected to start in June- July 2024, based on the JEE Mains score. The applications for JEE Mains (Session II) are open. The last date to register for the same is March 2, 2024. JEE Mains (Session II) examinations will be conducted from April 1 to April 15, 2024. The results will be announced on April 25, 2024.

NIT Raipur offers a 4-year duration BTech program as its flagship course in 11 different specialisations. To be eligible for this program, candidates should have completed their 10+2 examinations from any recognised state/central board with a minimum of 60% of marks. NIT Raipur BTech Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements before applying for the program.

A candidate must have completed his/her 10+2 level in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) stream from any recognised board of education.
They must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in their 10+2 level board examination.

NIT Raipur BTech Selection Criteria

The NIT Raipur BTech program has a two-tier selection process. Candidates must qualify for JEE Main to be shortlisted. After scoring a valid JEE rank between 1726-117415, candidates are requested to appear for the JoSAA counselling process. The choice filling and seat allotment will be done after the successful completion of JoSAA counselling.

NIT Raipur BTech Course Details

Given below are the details related to the NIT Raipur BTech course:

Structure of Program- The usual duration of the BTech program is 4 years i.e., 8 semesters. The curriculum of individual programs includes industrial training for 4-6 weeks. Industrial training and/or fieldwork is to be satisfactorily completed before a student is declared eligible for the degree. The industrial training will be arranged during the summer vacation following the Fourth and sixth semesters of studies.

Credit Requirements- NIT Raipur follows a semester-based credit system. Candidates are given credits on the basis of the number of lectures, tutorials, and practicals (LTP). The minimum passing grade for a course is E.

NIRF and Ranking :It is under top 79 by NIRF ranking in whole engineering colleges in India

Campus Area: It has small campus , only about 100acres
Infrstructure: It has Not very well infrastructure.

Special aspects of the curriculum- Core Subjects- The core subjects provide a solid foundation in fundamentals concepts.This includes mathematics ,physics and core engineerin subjects. Less burden to the students leading to better emotional health

Campus size is quite small as compared to other nit
Food facilities were not up to the mark in taste,service, availability

Mostly course were so old and out dated but they newly included few more subjects which teach us about the new technology and techniques which is used in day to day. The teaching methods of most of the teachers were too intresting though some were rude and had different methods. Exams were held on regular intervals and assignments were alloted to the students in daily basis to revise the things tought in the class.

The college has good library and course releated books which helps students study easily. Also the lend books for one month of time.
College canteen, which was opened recently is a good place to hangout.

The voice of construction, constantly kills my eardrums.

I choose my course cause it was best course offered in NIT Raipur. NIT Raipur was known for its civil base which is widely recognised in Chattisgarh state. The course is not updated it needs to be update to latest technology.
