NIT Raipur has a strong placement record with many top companies visiting the campus for recuitments.The training cell is active in organising training and placement activities to help students to secure good jobs.
NIRF and Ranking :It is under top 79 by NIRF ranking in whole engineering colleges in India

Course Curriculum Overview :

Special aspects of the curriculum- Core Subjects- The core subjects provide a solid foundation in fundamentals concepts.This includes mathematics ,physics and core engineerin subjects. Industrial relevent skilss- Inclusion of programming languages, software tools and technology that are demand in the industries.

Internships Opportunities :

There is no companies visite for internship in college , But NIT provide there students to intenship by there own , But you can apply offcampus intenship like in ms , amazon etc . You can learn web developments , AI -ML ,etc and apply for internship

Placement Experience :

It provide excellence placement to computer science and Information technolgy branch with avg package of 15 -18 lakhs It also has great placement in core branches like metallurgy and material science, mechanical , chemical etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the students whose parents income is greater than 5 lakhs He/she has to pay a total institue fees about 1.5lakhs. for the sc/st students they don't neet to pay tution fees . for the student whose parent income is less than 1lakhs they also don't need to pay tution fees. for the student whose parent income is between 1-5 lakhs they get 2/3 rd fees remission.

Campus Life :

It institue is not very well in it's infrastructure but there are many club and committiees are there in nit Raipur - E-cell , Technocracy , TCP , Raaga , Rajbhasa, Abhinay etc that has very great role in building a strong growth on students.

Hostel Facilities :

It not provide hostel facilites to all students . It has a toatal 5 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girl . One of the hostel is central indias largest hostel . meal quality and menu is well . For the 1st year hostel will provided on the basis of jee mains rank for the second year onward hostel is provided on the bsasis of cgpa of respective odd semester of previous year.

Hostel Fee : INR 55000 per year

Admission :

For the admission to this prestigious instute you need to qualify JEE (Joint Entrance Exam ) mains with top 2-3 percentile.also You need to get more than 75 pecentage in your 12th exam or under top 20 percent students

Faculty :

Qualification of Faculty members: 1 Ph.D Degree 2 Master Degree 3 Bachelor's Degree Most of the faculty members all well-trained and experienced in there subjects. I should rate 4.8 out of 5 to there Teaching styles .

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

I am very interested for choosing mech brach.so, I choose the mech branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams.

Placement Experience:

Students who passed the 4th semester can be eligible for the campus placement exams. There are lots of companies visits. Names are TATA group, TCS, JSW, Birla Cement, Ambuja Cement, and many more. The highest annual package was around 5.2 lacs p.a. and the average package was 3 lacs p.a. . Around 40-60% of students got selected in campus recruitment. Some companies come for the profile of executive engineer and some companies come for the Assistant Manager post. After graduation, I'm preparing for GATE
