The tuition fees will remain unchanged throughout your time at the institute. It will cost me around Rs 9,00,000/- to cover the complete cost of my education. The institute itself doesn't grant any scholarship but you can avail external ones.

Studying in a national institute is never free. However the fee structure of NIT SILCHAR is very nicely prepared. One can afford to study here. Also for economically weaker students, there is a relaxation in fees. There are various scholarships that helps the students financially.
