The course offers an exposure to the technical world we reside in, That's why I chose this college. It would be better if course durations are as long as that way we will get more hands-on experience than theoretical knowledge.
IIIT's curriculum is similar to IIT after which it has been designed. Under this curriculum, you have to complete all compulsory CS courses within 2 years and then you are open to explore a field of your choice through electives in the 3rd and 4th year. A few common electives include VISION, NLP, CSTAR, and many others. Some students use their free time to prepare for their Master, publish undergrad papers, and then move abroad for Masters. Others can be seen targeting an MBA. Consider the following things before making the final decision
Overall, IIIT Hyderabad is an excellent choice considering its rich research culture in comparison to IIT Guwahati.
