Placement Experience:

Campus placements are really nice. Many of our seniors got placed in the companies like Oracle, mindsfire,etc... with better package. Some of the seniors didn't get their jobs and they tried for off campus placements. Some of the off campus placements are also notified by the campus placement cell teachers through mail. The other option is studying MTECH. For MTECH they have written GATE exam and performed well.

Yeah the placements are decent and the avg around in Iat branch is 12 lpa.
Some seniors are good and a supportive in nature

Dislikes

Some seniors r not that much supportive.
Some faculties are not good here. Just very bad in their teaching skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are total 5 branches in this college and i will rate IT 7 out of 10 as placement is decent in this branch but fees ia too much high. And some times it ia bad for return in investment. Thats why yeah i rates it 7 /10

Though it might be a dealbreaker for others, i personally found the small campus size rather convenient.
They provide a reading room which is air conditioned and skyrockets my productivity

Dislikes

I don't like the fact that they haven't invested anything in the gym. It lacks equipment maintenance etc
Lots of land wasted in an already small campus

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 4th year. This year the highest placements belonged to the Computer Engineering branch. Percentage of students getting placements in the EEE branch is 70%, tho its slowly improving. I plan to work on either a startup or create my own after getting the degree.

The placement I like here if you compare from other colleges then it give a good placement
I like the academic pressure is not too much in the clg you can easily follow your passion

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel facility you are not provided a air conditioner
I dislike the mess food and the mess should be under government

From the 7th semesters students are eligible for placement. Company like Oracle , Dell and Wipro etc come to campus Highest was 39 lpa and lowest was 6 lpa 85% people getting placement I will go into a MNC

Seniors interaction, anti ragging, weather in winter
Societies, events, fests, events, etcetra

Dislikes

Class rooms, hostel, mess food, very small campus, no ac in rooms
Placements are low, and the teachers are not all that helpful we have to read through yt, and in summer without ac is like reading in the heat of hell

After 5th or 6th sem you can become eligible for campus placements and internships There are Rs. 39.00 lakhs per annum offered to 1 student by Media.net Rs. 20.00 lakhs per annum offered to 5 students by Publicis Sapient Rs. 18.00 lpa is given to 24 students by Oracle, 19 students by Siemens Healty care, 5 students by Turtlemint 1 students by Aira Matrix etc After I graduate my btech I wanted to mtech

Placement Experience:

The highest package this year was 40LPA on campus. Companies offer good packages to students here. Its approximately 90% of students placed. The average package is nearly 9LPA. They are allowed to sit for placement from 6-7semester.

Dislikes

Teaching in their own language but i can't understand
All are teaching in their mother tangue the other states students troubled

The placement. Opportunities are there and you skills you got job confirm and you have more skills to got placement job and college prove the placements for every year and placements are very good and the highest package is 40 lakhs per annum in this camupus

To be true most of the faculties are good and they have better degree than us
The fees for this college is less when compared to others

Dislikes

The campus is only 27 acres which is very small
There are no active activities happening here

Placement Experience:

I think the placement here is good because in our time the seniors got resesion and were not able to get good placement compared to last year but last year the placement was too good almost every person was getting a good placement so it's good

Better college - fun experience and an ample.amouny of time for other curricular activities

Dislikes

Could have more infrastructure given it is a Government college
No air conditioning in hostels and classrooms except for some

Our placements record are pretty good. Companies like HP, Dell, Oracle, Infosys, Deloitte come to our campus for placement drive. Overall with a placement rate of 84%, our campus provides better on campus placement rate. Computer engineering and Information Technology branches bag most of the placements here with 92% and 90% placement rate respectively.

VIBRANT CAMPUS LIFE:- Life at IIIT Bhubaneswar is competitive, co-operative, helpful, enjoyable and really impressive
The place is full of greenery and is pretty close to the airport too but is far away from the city so those who like such environments will surely like it.

Dislikes

Small Campus:- The campus is pretty small which makes does reduce walking distances but spaces for activity too are limited
Classrooms lack air - conditioning and the hostel rooms are very basic

Placement Experience:

The complete campus related and placement related doubts can be cleared through the college website's placement section itself. Some companies that visited include Oracle, Dell, Media.net, Informatica, Tekion etc.. In the year 2023, total 285 students were placed from campus drive.
