Dislikes

Class rooms, hostel, mess food, very small campus, no ac in rooms
Placements are low, and the teachers are not all that helpful we have to read through yt, and in summer without ac is like reading in the heat of hell

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose cse for my future job opportunity. As it based on it services. I wanted to do mtech after my btech. So this is also a reason for choosing cse . Yeah I'm this college you are going to be prepared for almost all things needy for Cse engineer In course curriculum the sem fees is a little high. 1And the teacher are not gonna make you read like you can read in any private tutor . The exam gaps are almost 2 months. There are 2 semester and with 4 major exams(2 mid sem and 2 end sem and some quizes) And if you read well you can do well

Class Size : 153Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Yeah internships are available in the college Like wayspire, Wipro, fluxus,teachnook, Microsoft, etc And projects in our college some of their are 18-01-2024 Advertisement for Technical Manpower OCAC on contractual basis 13.01.2024 Recruitment of Finance Consultant 13.12.2023 Recruitment of Contractual Faculty 29.11.2023 Recruitment of Project Assistant in MeiTy Sponsored C2S Project 21.11.2023 Recruitment of Deputy System Administrator on contract basis

Placement Experience :

After 5th or 6th sem you can become eligible for campus placements and internships There are Rs. 39.00 lakhs per annum offered to 1 student by Media.net Rs. 20.00 lakhs per annum offered to 5 students by Publicis Sapient Rs. 18.00 lpa is given to 24 students by Oracle, 19 students by Siemens Healty care, 5 students by Turtlemint 1 students by Aira Matrix etc After I graduate my btech I wanted to mtech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees in this college is almost 10 lacs And the mess food fees is also you have to pay outside from the fees It's like you have to pay 3200 per month for present tender In this college only for some odia get student sem fee waiver But rest have to pay the rest And some of the central scholarship you can get but you have to apply for that cause that is not from college And the campus is very small for a college My 12th school's area is larger than this college

Campus Life :

Our annual and biggest technical fest is Advaita It held in between feb-march for 4 days every year This is a fest for all over Odisha even form other states college students come and join in this fest There is no ac in our class rooms. Only fans, and it's so much disgusting for summer time And there are not so much light but ok ok lights in the class room And there are one projector also In sports our college have cricket ground football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, badminton ground And also chess and table tennis There are really good students society in our college Like cultural, technical, for coding, for festival, mess society also

Hostel Facilities :

There are 3 person and 4 person room you can get in hostel And from second yr you can opt single room if you score good marks And there are each fans for each person in a hostel room And just one tube light for a whole room and that we have to tolerate Registration process is after you get this college you have to fill a Google form and here there is some small chits of paper na din each paper there is one room no So if you collect one you have given a room no you have to stay there for a yr Yeah the price for hostel is affordable

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility:- Jee persentile for each caste I applied for this college in jossa and application fees is 0 and date vary each year Reservation can give you higher college Like if I used my general rank I can't come to this college but I'm sc so I am being selected Difficulty based on your reading In admission process I think it is good and easy for all

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
