- College provides various opportunities to the students in various fields such as sports, other cocurricular activities .various other colleges also visit our college for various competitions , there is proper arrangement for all types of activities.
- College overall a decent infrastructure. The classrooms are well air conditioned as well as proper cleanliness is also maintained inside the college premises. there are various canteens available for the college students and several are under const.

- The Hostel facility of the college is not much good. The hostels of the college are not properly maintained . Their infrastructure is not properly maintained by the management like the toilets and mess of some hostels are not maintained properly.
- The labs of the college are not properly maintained by the management. Some of the instrument appear to be slightly damaged and not working properly. Due to which some difficulties are faced in taking important and precise readings during the exper.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course of information technology in Harcourt Butler Technical University is one of the best courses offered by the college. The comprehensiveness of this courses not too much as most of the syllabus of this course is quite basic. One who has the basic knowledge about the programming skills will find this course very interesting as well as it will be very productive and the period of time. In the future there is the boom of information Technology so this course proves to be very effective for the future. Many students from this course get placed in various prominent companies which offer a great package to the students. Course Curriculum Overview:
The course of the hbtu is inspired from the IIT kharagpur and it is recently updated ,so it is according to the trends and new technologies of the market like the course curriculum have Ai and Ml in the semesters. The areas of improvement in the curriculum is to include more lab work more than the theory portion especially for computer science and information technology students as they have to get practical knowledge more than theoretical. There are 2 mid semesters and one end semester exam in each semester and they all are of medium level which is fully based on the syllabus.

The curriculum is very close to the curriculum which is taught in most of the colleges of UP that come under AKTU. The curriculum covers a rigorous amount of things related to real-world applications of CS fundamentals. But still, there is scope for improvement on the mode of examinations as they need to be more innovative

Course Curriculum Overview:
Btech from IT branch revolves around your problem solving and coding skillls. The curricullum followed in the college is pretty much old and facilities are not up to dated but the same problem is with most of engineering colleges. The courses and subjects taught are merely for exam purposes which only kills the time and talent of the students. I also say faculty are also not great and most of them are inexperienced or new. ONLY BENEFIT OF THE COURSE THAT 75% ATTENDANCE IS NOT COMPULSORY WHICH ALLOW STUDENTS TO FOCUS ON THEMSELVES AND THEIR CODING SKILLS. The papers conducted sem-wise with 6 subjects(100 marks each subject) in which 2 mid-sems(15 marks) and end-sem(50 marks) and TA(20 marks). the papers are quite diificult and require proper knowledge of the course.

Since HBTU is the oldest college in India with 100 years of excellence in Information Technology is a noncore branch in HBTU we have a girls and boys ratio1:8 We have IIT GRADUATE teachers with a lot of experience and knowledge exams are very timely and copy checking is all is on time without any delay.

I have chosen this course because of its good scope in the IT field. The faculties are good and student to teacher ratio is also nice. Faculty are generally qualified from Top NITs and IITs and exams are scheduled basically on 1.5 months difference and they are easy to pass.
