The curriculum is designed in such a way that it has a mix of theory and practicals which brings excitement to learning. The curriculum prepares us well for campus placements as most of the questions asked by companies during campus placements have been taught to us either in the classroom, in laboratories, or in our internship. CAD Software must be included in the course curriculum for Paint Technologists as it is a major requirement for recruiters. A total of 51 exams(theory+practicals) in 8 semesters around 8-9 exams per semester, some subjects like TSRP and OR are very difficult while others are moderately difficult and some are easy as well.

This course allowed me to the two aspects of paint first is of the formulation of the different paints as per there environmental exposure conditions and secondly there application in different fields. We are offered with the different industrial tours and we used to do the practical in our college laboratories to gain the practical knowledge under the guidance of the faculties. There are two mid sem exams and one end sem exam in a semester. Frequency of exams is once every one and half months

The most impactful influence for selecting this course is it's uniqueness and placement status. This curriculum provides a practical knowledge for industrial exposure. The course must include some basic concepts as well The frequency and timings are quite good as well as it's difficulty level

Being a paint technologist I will appreciate my branch as it gives various opportunities for the placements. Faculties are supportive and they influence us much in order to get good placement. Exams are organised very frequently as semester start and it is quite good and challenging to give those exams.

The course structure of HBTU is very much similar to uptu syllabus. It has semester exam system. Each semester has credit systems which you havr to fulfill. You will also get practical hands on experience of your department subjects here. The department will provide you internship as a part of curriculum after 3rd year.

The curriculum for each program typically includes a mix of theoretical courses, practical sessions, laboratory work, projects, and seminars. It may also incorporate industry internships and training programs to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges. Every semester there are 2 mid semester examinations along with one end sem exam. The lab and viva also go hand in hand

Paint technology is quite a unique course with only few engineering institutions teaching this specified field. This made me eager to join this course. Student to faculty ratio is quite good in paint technology with teachers always helping and welcoming students to help in their doubts and gathering them with enough resources. The faculty at paint technology in hbtu kanpur is quite qualified with all faculty having a phd degree in their respective fields from renowned institutions like iit. Teachers often help in providing notes and teach their material on smart and interactive boards so that the students can understand difficult topics very easily. Term exams usually happen at a interval of around 45 days with practicals in between.

Paint technology has 100% placement rate from last 4 years. That's why it made me go fot it. Ratio of faculty to professor if 50:1 The faculty you get is highly qualified. There are 6 written exam to be held in one year. Precisely 1st mid sem 2nd mid sem 1st end sem 3rd mid sem 4th mid sem 2nd end sem. Mid sem are comparatively easy but end sem is moderate to hard
