- The ICAL program has established a global reputation and topped international rankings for specialized LLM programs. During the past decade more than 300 graduates from about 70 countries have enriched their careers and expanded their networks.
- In the ICAL programme, students actively put theory into practice. The dynamic learning environment encourages students to apply the theories they?ve learnt through hands-on problem solving, surrounded by students from a broad range of backgrounds and using a a wide array of scholarly and comparative perspectives. The learning continues outside of the classroom, through visits to conferences and arbitration institutes and also through extra activities like the highly successful moot team.
- The program utilizes a variety of interactive learning formats, including an extensive mock arbitration that runs concurrently with the comprehensive first term course (30 ECTS).?
- The second term of the program focuses on scholarship with seminars designed to strengthen research, critical thinking and writing, with a ten-week course (15 ECTS) and a master thesis (15 ECTS).?
- Students will have opportunities to compete for a team position in international moot court competitions in international arbitration. The ICAL Program features lectures by many leading arbitration academics and practitioners. It also enjoys a strong global alumni network that contribute to various aspects of the program.
