Sweden University admissions are offered in the autumn and spring semester annually. However, only a few Swedish universities offer spring admissions for international students. The autumn intake starts in September and continues until January. Meanwhile, the spring intake begins in January and lasts till early June. Indian students are encouraged to apply for autumn to study in Sweden as majority of the courses are available in this intake in almost every university.

Application period for autumn intake lasts between mid-October to mid-January. For spring intake, you can apply between early June to mid-August. All Swedish universities have the common application deadline of January 15 for autumn intake and August 15 for spring intake. You are required to pay an application fee of 900 SEK (7,443 INR) for admissions in Swedish universities.
